What PvP Meta is the best?
I personally like Thorn Meta. Everything was fun and Trials actually gave me a EXOTIC EMBLEM

This community is totally done. I feel like ppl have forgotten how bad that meta was. One of bungie devs said str8 up he doesnt want that type of meta anymore. Which is nice because alot of idiots have been asking for yr 2 thorn. Just asking for trouble i think.

I hated getting constantly killed by fusion rifles, we all know how bad it was with shotguns in the Shot Package area, and I hate getting insta-killed whenever I walk around the corner by someone who's so far away I can't see them on my radar. Basically all specials except side arms since they're rare. Personally I've been saying for awhile (as have many others) that they need to change the special ammo drops. Don't spawn with special, and space the drops out more. People should be using their primaries the majority of the time. It's easily possible right now to run around and use your special the entire match.

I voted solely based on the period where I did the best, although I'm doing alright with the current. That probably has more to do with the fact that I've gotten better at Crucible since I first started (this was my first FPS game ever).

This poll is ridiculous. The current meta is TLW/sniper or MIDA/shotgun with some pulse rifles or autos thrown in. This is way better than TLW/thorn meta where only three guns were really viable. Currently there are several guns across all weapon classes that are viable. How do people not like this meta more?

It hasn't been balanced since everyone had shit guns in the beta. And I don't know how people can say a meta where there was a new nerf post every 30 seconds was the best, those times were awful.

Would've voted for the final round Era if it wasn't for final round. That was the only thing that was annoying in trials the rest was tolerable.

I personally like right now. I don't know why people rock shotguns, a legendary sidearm and a mida absolutely wreck. Mine is a Hakke one and it does 50 damage for a crit but it's got a bit of kick so if you hit body it still does 37 up close its mad! It shoots so quick, just not a lot of range, and high recoil.

The thrown meta was just a lot more fun. I mean yeah it wasn't perfectly balanced but it was just a lot more enjoyable. Using a gun that overpowered everything was fun in ways but finding ways to counter that was much more fun! Also, if you knew how to, countering blink/shotty was so rewarding.

1 ReplyVanilla was fun cause of fusion rifles. I think there was honestly more balance in the thorn days though. There was just a much wider verity of guns. The only handcannons that were really strong were the exotics. Legendary pulse rifles actually ruled the roost as far as legendary primaries went. Messenger and hopscotch were god tier. Plus there was more then just 1000 yard stare available as snipers. Shotguns were nuts but last word balanced them out. The time to kill was so low on everything that it really was the most balanced state the crucible has been in.

I found the auto/vex/pocket infintiy hard to compete with being the begininng of the game not having acess to suros, vex, or pocket infinty. Just not being lucky enough to get those exotics to drop.
