I beat Paradox Solo at 289 light
To prevent idiots commenting on my 1 character, please follow these steps.
1: Look up the Name CybrTygr
2: Click on the profile with the Nightstalker picture
3: click on the hunter
4: stats
5: read
I had just raised my light with engrams, so if it's higher than 289, you know why.
What I don't get is why people think they need a team. It only took me 3 or 4 tries.
Edit: yes, secret ending. I really made the post to poke fun at the people on LGF with that light requirement and are looking for teams.
Edit JR: first time I fell. Second try was when servers went potato. fourth was clear, assuming I fell again. Enemies never killed me.

I beat paradox when I was 290. Not a big deal. I also beat the last version of fear embrace when I was 296.

3 RepliesI soloed it at 295 light. It was easy. I beat the mission and the boss both on the first try. Just hang back during the boss fight and keep clearing adds (rocket launchers help). When you aren't getting shot at too much anymore, damage the boss. I used this strategy and: -295 Vendor Hung Jury -300 High RoF Sniper (w/ same roll as Hung Jury) -290 Sleeper Simulant Looking back, I probably should've used a rocket launcher and Black Spindle. In any case, the fight isn't hard, but just takes a while. Don't rush through it.

I solo'd the whole thing except for the Vex Minotaur part cuz the game gave me the baboon error code as soon as I entered the gate Dx

Good for you. The last time it was up, I tried soloing it. I got to the end and wiped about 10 times on the final boss. I had to just quite before I threw my controller into the wall. This time, I just got this to help me, and it went by pretty easily

Hate to be mean....but this isn't that hard....soloing the spindle would be a feat, but the boss and ads are pretty easy to take out in paradox.

2 RepliesThe impressive feat of soloing a mission while you're 40 light higher than the recommended light level. Yeah, I soloed it when I was ~270. It was easy as trying to put out a spark with a fire hose. On a side note, anyone seen those videos of people soloing Regicide? I find it funny that they need to post that.

I soloed that mission at 258 I died about 3-4x if i recall But i remember soloing it cause i didnt hav friends at that time that played Destiny

3 RepliesGood for you and what's impressive about that your 289 and the mission is 240. -_- If trying to make a point towards LFG then your wasting your time. LFG people are dumb that's why I'll never use it. A random group of cool guardians in the tower and a grind since Black Friday is all I need to be good. Literally.
