I feel like I am doing something wrong, I'm currently level 19 and have yet to get to diamond city, your thoughts?
Edit: well I arrived in diamond city at level 21 and accidently shot some guys cat and the game saved, I'm being shot at and die instantly no matter what, can I reverse this somehow? I really need help with this one I think I really just -blam!-ed myself over
Edit: I'm not getting shot at anymore thanks guys lol. Anyone know a good place to get concrete? I don't have enough to rebuild the castles walls.

Edited by PolarizedBearX1: 12/21/2015 9:39:00 PMGo anytime I went just to unlock its market and piper I was lvl 7 You don't have to do any more quests once you get there if you don't want to

First Part: The crux of Open World Games. Linger too long and you out level the main quest making every dramatic encounter downright trivial. Plunge ahead and you may miss out on key items/abilities. Second Part: Save When you complete a quest. Save when you aquire an item. Save before starting conversations. Save before entering doors. Save after entering doors. All jokes aside you should always have at least 3 separate "Hard Saves" apart from your Auto and Quick Saves.

Idk when i did, but I killed Kellogg at 8
-
Dis not go until level 55
-
Go to your last save before getting shot at
-
1 ReplyMy last playthrough I didn't get there till lvl 110.
-
I would say around 20 is the best.
-
I was like level 15 when I got there :P
-
Whenever you feel like it. That's the point of Fallout, do what you want, when you want.
-
I was like level 15-17. If doesn't matter.
-
I'm level 38 still have not got there
-
Whenever you want... Doesn't really matter

Edited by Ghost N Things: 12/21/2015 3:05:36 AMI got in to diamond city without talking to piper Or the mayor or anyone matter of fact
-
Got there at lvl 13. I'm lvl52 now... Just chillin', walkin' around killing everything...
-
AAAAAAAAA - old
Reached it at level 7. Didn't go back until level 35. -
Got there really early on, but I still don't have Nick as a companion.
-
40 and I just got there
-
Honestly it doesn't matter. I always get side tracked and forget about it so I usually don't get there until level 20 or so.
-
I was like leave 35 and went there XD
-
Level 25 and haven't been to diamond city yet
-
2 RepliesHave a look through your quick saves and see if there is one from before diamond city, you may have to do some stuff again
-
Depends on how much you like to explore, no certain level. On my first character I was at Diamond City at level 8. On my second character I was 22. First character I just rushed through the storyline but my second (actually knowing how the game is played) I had explored a quarter of the map and done a few quests before I reached Diamond City.

When you get there make sure to talk to everyone in that place for missions. Run the bases you won't regret it

Edited by TylerAU: 12/20/2015 4:22:54 AMIt's truly up to you. For me there are three parts of gameplay to Fallout. Story, exploring/power leveling and settlement building. When one gets old move to another. However quality of enemies and settlement populations seem to bolster not only from your level but how far you are in the story. That's from my experience from first playthrough getting to level 35 before diamond city and then doing a playthrough with statue cheat to level 50 before diamond city

Whenever you want. Though I would reccomend going as early as possible just to have access to all the main shops.
