Waving off the Heavy for Trials and Skirmish
Hey Guardians
So I thought this was common knowledge but it appears that some don't know this yet.
If you're in Trials or Skirmish Playlist and the Heavy spawns, if you're willing to continue the game through primary and specials without using Heavy Ammo then use the "Wave" emote once it drops before anyone picks it up.
If the opposing team waves back then it is player mutual agreement to not take the Heavy ammo and continue the fight honorably with your Special and Primary.
If the other team does not wave back or picks up their ammo spawn it's obvious they do not want to wave it off or have no idea of this unspoken rule. It's up to you as honest Guardians to keep this silent agreement mutual and not take the Heavy ammo when you're losing or to cheat and take both spawns for yourself. That is low and dishonorable and you're probably going to have the opposing team drop the moment they are ahead of you do this.
So just a PSA, if you see someone Wave once heavy drops now you know what it means =)

**Edit** The amount of no honor people in these comments disgust me. I can see both teams not taking or agreeing to take the Heavy ammo. But to make the agreement not to and steal the ammo for yourselves? That's unbelievably low...

In skirmish, salvage it works sometimes, but only with teams. in too it's just one round and everybody wants to win so i guess it won't work

4 RepliesOne thing that really gets me is when you’re sprinting towards the heavy with your teammates and someone picks it up when no one else is close enough to benefit. Why not play rumble if you’re not a team player.

First of all, I don't even use heavies. It's not honorable to get kills with a RL but it's honorable to get kills with a sniper lmao, I'm a whore I've been abusing snipers since day 1 and trust me it's not honorable, stupid sweat rule lmao. PS: Before "yur a skrub yu use shotguns and a blink sunbreaker with self res" Nope, snipers are my most used weapons for Trials.

2 RepliesSo it's dishonorable to play the game with heavy? Last I checked it's about winning within the confines of the game. And in my experience you can't trust anyone. This is why the crucible needs private games. Though this post did make me think of the good ol dark souls days. Can't wait for that game to come out in the spring!

In any game mode I just rush the heavy with my super. I wait around 5 seconds abd run guns a blazing. (I hate the heavy round lol)

2 RepliesThey just need to reduce the amount of ammo you get when using lmg. I honestly could care less about having or not having heavy in certain game types. It all boils down to lmg having the ability to kill 10+ players before they run out. Also make it so that you can only get ammo from 1 crate per spawn which would negate played stock piling. Or make it team wide and you can still pick up the other heavy ammo box but all it would do is stop the other team from getting it. I've lost to players in rumble where I die at the wrong time and they get heavy and snowball to the win but that's nothing to get mad, salty or butthurt about. It's a part of the game and until they add custom lobbies just deal with it, if the other players don't wave it off there's no need to try and insult them for using something that's part of the game. It's like getting mad at someone using a super on you, it's just stupid.

In trials half the time my team will wave their team will wave then 20 seconds in we pull both heavies and get a free win

Just do this, wave and if no one waves back. Rush their heavy, take it, abuse it, and make them rage. so they can eventually hate heavy ammo and start to wave.
