I'm rocking a Bladedancer with TLW and my 1000 Yard Stare. It's a nasty combo.
I'm loving The Last Word right now. It's finally useful.

I'm a year two player. I never had to deal with their reign of terror. I came in when they sucked.

Oh man, well you missed out. TLW had something like 8 range but was capable of 2 shotting someone from 100 feet away. I hated it more than Thorn. Enjoy it while you can bc I guarantee it will receive a nerf in the next balancing patch.

I do hip fire it and that's unchanged but being able to move to ads and engage someone slightly out of hip fire has been very nice. Coupled with my sniper I like how it's performing now.

Lol bane of every person who thinks last word is op now (but it's not...) and all those people who don't actually know how AA works.
