The modified Elephants are called Oliphants, re-purposed for garbage collecting. I think the Engineer's design is actually pretty smart. The Halo 1 one was crap. And, I aim to disturb.

Just the head. The rest of the body looks like the original design and not phallic shaped at all. Also that 'Hey, watch where you put that thing!" bit near the end of the game was a bit disturbing but still funny. I wonder if we'll see the Huragok in Reach? Or the Drinol?!
