So when I saw that we were going to be getting sparrow racing I was actually genuinely excited, new sparrows, new game mode, a reason to be good at handling a sparrow so I don't look like an idiot for bragging about that... but now looking at it, I realise what garbage it is and how half assed it has been. There are very few new sparrows, there is no benefit to using them, they are not faster, a race can be lost because the ground decides to stop all your momentum, it is impossible to purposely ram someone and when you accidentally bump someone it can send them from first to last. In addition if you want any of the cool new sparrows you have to spend REAL cash on a CHANCE to get the one you want. When I take a step back and look at this I can't help but feel that this was an attempt by Activision to get more money out of us by making us buy four or five of these packs to try and get the sparrow we want, and the worst part is that these cooler looking sparrows give us no actual benefit in the races. When it comes down to it, this whole thing was a waste of my time, more and more I feel destiny and bungie are wasting my time and I am tired of it. I didn't spend my hard earned cash to be given five to eight extra missions, and five more levels I can go up. I didn't go through so many arguments convincing people that destiny was still a great game to have the company I am defending throw my words back in my face and spit on me. I am beyond tired of this treatment that we as customers are receiving, and I wish we could organise well enough to show our dissatisfaction but we are to busy arguing amongst ourselves. If I had my way about it, I'd like to see everyone who plays destiny skip out on buying the next DLC for a solid month and let bungie and Activision sweat it out for a bit to show them that we mean business and demand the game we were promised! Let me level up more than five times with each expansion, let me earn the things I want, give me more than two hours of story per expansion, and let me feel like I am actually being a bad ass, not just getting lucky in pvp/sparrow racing. Let me know what you are disappointed with in destiny, I want this thread to be purely for showing bungie that we want a good game, not something that feels like a back burner project. Give us something worth defending in when talking to our friends, don't turn this game into another garbage shooter to be tossed by the way side.
