Lol because shadestep is a perk exclusive to nighstalker. The mid air dodge that the garrison gives is something else entirely, plus titans don't have any perk like it. What I'm saying is that you can't compare the two. A better argument would be "why can you do the crouch invisibility with all subclasses on kephris sting rather than just having it on bladedancer?"

  • Don't touch me also grant invisibility as well for all hunter subclasses.

  • The point of it was that bladedancers exclusively have the crouch invisibility perk. The Don't Touch Me's give invisibility by enemy melee (not a perk in any hunter subclass). So that would be just like the Garrison.

And just like don't touch mes, khepris sting doesn't grant perks but instead has its own exotic perks just like tg. Graviton forfeit and Helm of inmost light both grant perks. Khepris doesn't say "grants stalker".

  • It's just the fact that it's the exact same way to gain invisibility as the bladedancer subclass. The point of this guy's thread was that the Garrison dodge could be granted to all subclasses and that shadestep can't. The fact that Kephris Sting grants the exact same way to get invisibility relates more to his problem. Don't get me wrong, you are correct that it is a perk tree granting problem. Kephris sting would just hold more water with his problem. You can't complain about the Garrison comparing it with the DTM's (like this guy did with the GF) because they both grant something that is not otherwise attainable through a subclass. KS grants something that IS in a subclass (crouch invisibility) regardless of whether it grants a perk in the tree or not. This would be the better argument because all of the hunter subclasses can share in this ability that only the bladedancer has so then why can't the GF grant shadestep to the other subclasses as well?

  • Because of the wording it's how they define the perks given.
