317+ raid requirement explained
Some people including myself ask for 317+ because ever since challenge mode came out noobs have been able to acquire 320+ gear even though they are horrible 317+ is the new requirement because it shows you have completed the more than enough times
Bump to save a noobs time

That's hilarious. In Year 1, we regularly did Raids and PoE 1-3 levels below the recommended level. Hard mode has been completed by a bunch of 286s.

1 ReplySee that's what's wrong with requirements. I stopped grinding for gear. Been grinding since day one. All my characters are 314 with raid setup. I'm not lucky with this game but have taught and carried many people thru all 3 raids. I'm the guy that you want on your team I've done every aspect of every raid legit but your silly requirement would bypass a guy like me and choose a guy that me and my team have carried each week who gets lucky.

The only challenge I miss was the warpriest challenge. My Titan is 315. Stop your elitist BS.

You can put your raid requirement wherever you want. But that requirement list screams "I play on easy mode". I got where I am raiding with randoms, always. I may not always finish. Sometimes I have to compensate for a weakness. But I always get better from the added challenge.

Especially someone with a raid requirement like that, yet can't even pull a double digit KD in the raid. By posting requirements like that you are screaming, "I NEED TO BE CARRIED, PLEASE SOME ONE HELP ME!". We all did hard mode at 306-309 for our first few runs and all cleared it just fine, it's just laughable at this point haha.

Meh, light level means nothing to me. I've played with tons of players who were high level and absolutely sucked.

Some people get carried and have great luck. Have played with 315 and above ton of time, and they were absolute garbage

3 RepliesChallenge Mode Oryx was my first Hard Oryx attempt and completion. I was 310 and we only wiped 2-3 times before getting it done. So... Yeah.

Completed all 3 challenge modes, emblems and fragments to prove so, yet I only have a 316 max because I frequently hard reset myself. Putting stipulations on a raid team is just silly. Play for fun and help a scrub or two out. Average joes need love to, ya know.

I did Oryx challenge at 305 without ToM. It's not hard with a coordinated group. Watch out for malicious glitches though.

2 RepliesUhh I beat the raid NM and HM first week it came out. After two weeks of HM I said -blam!- the grind for 320. Happily sitting at 310

RNG does not determine skill. That's all light level is in the TTK era.

2 Repliesdid Oryx challenge with two different LFG groups. The first was high level 315-318 guys who only knew No Knight, they were terrible and didn't know the mechanics at all. The second group "knew the normal strat" but magically couldn't snipe a knight to save their lives. So then I ran two back to back Oryx CM with my clan, both completed in first real try, with a 307 who is a great player that didn't die once. There is know way to predict skill from light level unfortunately.

Light shows nothing. I have played with people who were carried trough raids and have light then me. Guess what they still weren't good because the had no real clue of what to do.
