Many people who play as Hunters, who couldn't play against Sunbreaker, were crying out for it to be nerfed. Now, it is that of an armored Golden Gun.
Many of these Hunters also think that Shadestep from Graviton should be granted to all subclasses. However, if we look at the description...
Unlocks the Nightstalker Subclass Shadestep node for free.
While it says "grants Shadestep", in the fine print of the description, it claims to unlock it, meaning that it only grants it for that class.
Now, moving on.
These players who run Hunters are claiming that Khepri's Sting is an example of why Shadestep should be given to all classes when Graviton is worn. Khepri's Sting is an exotic Hunter Gauntlet that grants invisibility. They are claiming that crouching in place is a perk from Bladedancer given to all classes.
This is true. However, its exotic perk is Touch of Venom, not Stalker, which I believe is the name of the perk in Bladedancer's tree.
Touch of Venom also grants Backstab, in a way. However, this is defined by its own exotic perk. In no way does it say "Grants Stalker" or something similar.
Now, moving on to Titans, their PvP history, and the fabled Twilight Garrison.
Players who run Titans have been hit hard from their liable PvP subclass, the Sunbreaker, being nerfed. Now I'm going to try to keep this as logical as possible.
The Sunbreaker was only slightly overpowered, and it was largely due to its immense explosions the hammers created.
The explosions allowed HoS to not require hitting a target to kill them. Even with the higher damage reduction they had, HoS was not impossible to kill if handled correctly.
Now let's move on.
Striker has been given a very nice PvP makeover with the return of Armamentarium, which is so goddamn hard to spell, what the hell?
They have also been given the ability to run full armor with the additional +1 armor granted by Unstoppable, and Shoulder Charge, which I believe now works in the air, is made slightly more deadly.
As if it wasn't already deadly.
Next, the fabled TG, and why it is not OP, and why it grants its exotic perk to all Titan subclasses.
I will start by saying that the Twilight Garrison's description only claims to
Press O,O or B,B to evade.
Does this say "Unlocks Evade" for Titans? I think not. It is an ability, not a perk from the perk tree.
Which, by the way, isn't given to Titans in the first place.
Finally, the Twilight Garrison, though not thought of by many...is not overpowered. The reason for this is because those videos you see of Titans running it and doing amazing with it?
How many do you see doing that in the actual game?
I'm not saying it's fake; I think these players are incredible for mastering the Tactical Air Support perk. However, my main point is that it takes a lot of skill to master this chest.
If you don't agree with that, then how about this: not everyone can be as good as those players mentioned.
Lastly, the TG is ugly as hell, so that's the ultimate reason why it's not overpowered.
I've said my fill. Away with you, Guardians...
Edit: It was also brought to my attention that the Air Evasion isn't given an "invulnerability" frame, for lack of a better word. You can still hit an evading Titan if you track their movement.
Blink and Shadestep are slightly harder to kill during their frames.
Edit 2: dragonhunter, the original owner of the Twilight Garrison, arrived.
Edit 3: So...this topic is getting popular. Must be a big debate.
Edit 4: The fake Butthurt is here...?
Edit 5: In Y1, I always thought Shoulder Charge had a shorter duration in the air than it does now.
I never used it that much, so I suppose my word isn't credible on that. Apologies, Guardians.
Edit 6: Shit...the Pig is here! Ninja vanish!
Edit 7: That one laser guy came.
Edit 8: The creator of the 12/14 to 12/18 MotW arrived.
Edit 9: The Traveler itself arrived.

6 RepliesOh so now you have time to explain
-
Saw some twilight garrison in trials last night. That guy was horrible. He evaded into a horribly placed sniper shot of mine and gave me the kill. That video of that guy dodging supers and rockets and and everything else from the MOTW is impressive but I can't imagine how many times he failed to dodge the super and still does. I feel like the garrison is fine. Tarantella though. One guy had it and max intellect and he had his super in the second round of trials. We got rekt by those guys.

Yup ugly as shit but fun as hell
-
I remember when people said Twilight Garrison would be useless and make you a giant target.
-
2 RepliesYou care far too much.
-
1 ReplyHunter main here. Don't have a max-level Titan, probably never will. Twilight Garrison is fine. Gunslinger and Bladedancer don't need Shadestep, nor should they have it. The true power of the Graviton comes in having Shadestep together with Keen Scout (perhaps the greatest perk in the game currently).
-
One thing Twilight does better than Shadestep is checking hallways.
-
24 RepliesI posted this on another post and I'll post it again: it says it unlocked the night stalkers mode, but it DOESNT say it unlocks it specifically for Nightstalker, which implies it could go to all classes, I don't care one way or another but still
-
Twilight Garrison is amazing!

1 ReplyThank you for the read...

2 RepliesYou hunters kill me.

1 ReplyAll my Guardians are super salty as of late. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Ew.
-
2 RepliesI've seen more posts complaining that people are complaining about twilight garrison than I've seen posts actually complaining about it.
-
6 RepliesLmao wow u must never play gunslinger..sunbreaker is still 2-3 times more armored then gunslinger
-
1 ReplyI have yet to play against anyone with this.
-
6 RepliesI'm not familiar with Twilight Garrison. Perhaps you have confused it with Lifejacket.
-
2 RepliesJust got this chest piece this morning! And peregrine greaves yesterday lol
-
3 RepliesBtw how many time can you evade with the tg before cooldown?
-
Shade step does not have iframes, but good post.
-
6 RepliesLove how people completely mislook the Warlocks and Titans also complaining, and always stereotype Hunters. Before you say anything, I'm all 3.
-
For every cool evade in TG there are 30 mistakes that end up in the player dead.

1 ReplyEdited by OJ191: 12/19/2015 12:32:25 PMYeah good post, explains exactly why twilight garrison works but graviton is mediocre oh wait you were trying to prove a different point? and none of them have i-frames. I've seen people get headshot sniped mid shadestep (admittedly it was mostly luck). But it's no more or less easy to track than garrison or blink.
-
1 ReplyYou can rant all you want, but we all know that you're just trying to get Garrison nerfed.
-
1 ReplyThe fact that some people need this kind of explanation on this matter, makes me lose faith in humanity.
-
1 ReplyPuts down hunters and he mains one. Muted and solved.
-
1 ReplyOne is a skill and one is a perk. Seems like this is the first video game some people have ever played ever
