2 RepliesSome asshole started using a laser pointer halfway through the movie

When Rey was walking up the stone steps to meet Luke I couldn't help thinking "if Luke skywalker never leaves this place, why does he need stairs?"
-
17 RepliesKylo and Rey are twins for sure. Think about it.
-
4 RepliesHopefully they don't forget to answer this question: How did Luke's lightsaber end up in that chest in that location? Kyle Ren is shit.

Kyle is a marine

I wonder who were those Q heads on solos barge

7 RepliesI was really hoping to see Chewie rip a stormtrooper's arm off and beat his squadmates to death with it.

3 RepliesKind of sad to realize that the random First Order Stormtrooper with the magnaguard stick would probably have done better against Finn and Rey than Kylo Ren.

3 RepliesSome lady on the theatre cried when the Millenium falcon came on. She was crying like her dad died. Oh, she reacted the same way when Han died.

9 RepliesMy thoughts are J.J. Abrams should be fired and this movie go as a spinoff while they relaunch Episode 7 using either book canon or original plotlines.

1 ReplyAs a movie, it was good. But it didn't really feel like it was it's own story to me. It really felt like it was a mashup of episodes 4-6 mixed with a bit of some of the stories from the corpse that is the EU. It didn't feel...unique. As much crap as the prequels get, they at least felt different with each movie. 4-6 did as well, but 7...I'm not so sure. But, that's just my opinion.

1 ReplyI loved kylo ren. That kid was what anakin should have been in episode three. He was a young sith in training who is conflicting with the light. But he is still young and untrained which shows in his fighting style. It's wild, slow and sloppy. He beats his open wound to gain power from the pain. If count duku or darth Vader fought those kids it would have been a slaughter. That's what the kylo haters have to realize. He is young and unrefined. Give him another movie and I promise he will be darth Vader level badass.

11 RepliesSaw the movie. Overrated AF, it's shit.

I loved the parallels between Revenge of the with Anakin and Kylo Ren. It's more like reversals, actually. Whereas Anakin wanted to purge the dark side from himself, Kylo wanted to purge the light side. Remember that Anakin is Kylo's grandfather. I think that revelation is what drove Ren to the dark side. There is some speculation about Snoke actually being Darth Plagus. I hope that is true. That would be awesome.

1 ReplyEdited by TwoGz: 12/19/2015 10:00:19 PMNot bad, great characters, and good scenes, but far too imitative, had a clunky nonsensical plot, and just felt like another Marvel movie, you know, all the elements are there but they've had the magic sucked out of them. Some of the action, especially the dogfights, was amazing, but it all feels too rushed, too eager to move the plot forward. Still, it was nice to see the old actors reprise their roles. Feels whenever they were in shot.

3 RepliesI loved Kylo Ren. I thought it was so amazing when he raged out and destroyed that entire control panel and then force choked the officer. Also I cried so hard when Han died. :(

Edited by fballguy: 12/20/2015 6:29:25 AMWhen Finn and Rey were running for a ship, Finn points to one and Rey says, "that one is garbage" I knew what was coming but still almost lost my breath when the camera turns to the Millenium Falcon. That moment was even more emotional for me than when
Han was killed
And that sequence with the 1st person view of the x-wing in the dogfight was seriously bad ass. Rey's vision that includes the voices of Yoda and Ben Kenobi was a nice surprise.

9 RepliesEdited by ALoafOfBagels: 12/20/2015 6:36:22 AMCons: There were no traps for Ackbar to yell "it's a trap!" At. And I think Kylo Ren was either underpowered or weak af. A Magnagaurd could've beat him. And he looked like Sepharus Snape with curly hair, I was waiting for him to use an Avada Kadavra spell on Han. Someone told me there was a secret clip of the Supreme Lord after the credits, and whoever that was I hate them.
Although that led me to see the hilarious Chinese names. (One was "Wang Wong" no joke!)
Captain Phasma was just dumb. Seriously. I wanted to dropkick that -blam!-ing bb-8 droid across the -blam!-ing galaxy. It did have a couple humorous moments but still. Millennium Falcon is apparently a bumper car. Pros: Absolutely loved the new stormtroopers. Just badass looking. I liked the way they depicted the ruined ships on Jakku. Nice touches of humor throughout the movie. Stormtroopers+Rebels finally found out how to use the sights on their gun. The touches of Yoda+Obi Wan talking when Rei picked up Luke's sword added.that sort of feel that the force was with it. Tie fighters all have different explosion animations. I have a lot more good things to say about the movie. Great addition to the series and still leaves a little space to build off of. Things to discuss: I'm 99% sure I saw a Gungan the village on Jakku when Rei was being attacked and Finn runs to help. It was right as Finn starts running through the crowd, at the end of that clip. I saw him In the upper right area of the screen. Just something to look for if you're going to see the movie. Captain Phasma was seriously bad. They were weak and didn't bother to fight back in any situation.
She could've really been Jar Jar...
Rei is Luke's daughter. The strength of the force in them is powerful and nonchalantly wilded a lightsaber like a Jedi. Discuss. Edit: More things to discuss, well rather debate: Snoke could be Dearth Pelagius. If you remember Sidious (Palpatine at the time) talking to Anakin aboutbthe dark side of.the force for the first time, he mentions a story of an apprentice of a Sith lord named "Darth Pelagius", and starts talking about being able to use the dark side for immortality which spikes Anakin's curiosity so he can make sure Padme won't die giving birth. Sidious starts talking again and brings up how he had no fear, except for losing his power. Then, he lost it, and was assassinated in his sleep. Now what I'm thinking is if he could've kept his immortal capabilities and survived the attack, because Snoke (from what we can see from.his hologram) he looks powerful, like Pelagius, and has a giant-ass gash in his head.

3 RepliesThere's no ships. The fleet has like twenty X wings and the first order has a star destroyer, but a big F off planet. Where's the ships?
-
2 RepliesI loved the movie, though I did feel a bit disappointed at Rey's becoming of a force user ("Close my eyes and I'll be able to beat him!") and I felt it was a bit backstory heavy. Unless you did separate research, you wouldn't know what the Order of Ren was or what not. Felt the CG was cool and I'm -blam!-ing glad they didn't kill Poe off

1 ReplyI purposely avoided pretty much the entire internet for the last couple days. I was not surprised to see Han die knowing how Harrison Ford felt about the character. The movie was magical. It was like seeing Star Wars again for the first time; something missing since the original Trilogy. The Prequels don't count as such an experience because we all knew how the story would generally go. This was a new frontier.

3 RepliesI almost cried when solo was talking to kylo, then he kills his father.
