2 RepliesI really liked it , great mix of cgi and practical affects I thought it was way better than the prequels and almost as enjoyable as the originals .. I thought they could have gave us a little more detail on who certain characters were and how they came about , also some time spent on what actually happened between movies 6 and 7 ( hopefully we will get more info in the upcoming movies) as all the events were explained very briefly ......... The second thing that I was slightly disappointed in was Kylo ren and the sabre battle . At the beginning of the movie Kylo ren seems to be very powerful , more powerful than most Jedi/sith we have seen , freezing bullets , reading thoughts etc exactly what we were expecting from darth Vadars grandson . But at the end ,somehow ,he is defeated by rey who up until half way through the movie didn't even know the force really existed and had never even seen a light sabre before ... The sabre fight itself looked clumsy neither rey or ren seemed that skilled with a sabre and Finn looked almost as capable with it as they did .. It was no where near as fast paced or as well choreographed as the sabre fights seen in the other films ( anikin vs obi wan for example ) .... Over all I really enjoyed it and I can't wait for the next one

I have a feeling Snoke could be Sith Lord Palpatine or Plagueis. Snoke apparently has knowledge of the years before the Empire. He could also be the Grand Inquisitor. They both share similar faces.

Also how did the one alien lady with the goggles manage to get Luke's blue lightsaber if it fell to the bottom of cloud city with his hand? And finally, why does kylo ren look and kind of act like a prequel Anakin 2.0? He could've been built up to be more vader like, but instead, they made him have daddy issues and all of that shit. Another thing to add is why didn't the new republic deal with the first order more? They just let the resistance deal with it, rather than sending an entire fleet to destroy starkiller.

Horrible pc bullshit. I mean how can rey know the millenium falcon better than Han and chewie. Or learn how to do a jedi mind trick by closing her eyes for a few seconds, develop a stronger force pull than a guy who stops lasers in mid air 20 minutes after learning that the force existed. No training or anything. A three minute Montage of her looking up the force in dictionary set to hearts on fire would've made more since. Will Ferrells sudden ability to use martial arts at the end of get hard had more exposition and made more since than rey suddenly besting kylo ren in everything including force use, Saber wielding, and mind reading. They even threw in some -blam!- alegory for the feminists out there. Kylo Ren could've been great but he was whiny bitch. Apparently J.J. Abrams thinks the type of anger that creates sith is the "wears my binky!?!?" type of anger. Ren throws 3 temper tantrums in the movie. At the end of the day the development of rey's powers reminds me of women's rights. She didn't sweat or bleed for it, she didn't earn it, it was just given which ales wholly uninteresting.
