  • It can't melt beams but when things get hot they can bend. And when things bend they can break. GG

      • It's actually kinda funny... I didn't watch the video btw so I don't know for which side this guys on but... In standard testing, no, jet fuel cannot melt steel beams. however once you combine the other materials in the buildings & the planes and the stresses added in from the collision... jet fuel could quite easily use the materials as a catalyst to heat up even further, enough to melt the steel beams...

          • The Deniers sound more stupid than the Truthers at this stage... America is way too -blam!-ing shady to just give a pass on this one because they get sensitive over 9/11.. They started a decade long war in the middle east after 9/11 lest you forget.. Resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent people.. Once you can explain: 1. Freefall velocity of building as if there was no foundation below it. 2. All 3 buildings managing to look like controlled demolitions by falling directly into themselves.. 3. Building 7... 4. Evidence.of thermite found.in the rubble @ ground 0 5. Oh come on.. I have you a bit convinced surely!! Explain my following points

            • We have no idea that his steel is structural. Plus, the steel in the trade centers was 3 inches thick. Not 1. Also jet fuel can injured burn at 1500 degrees. 300 degrees cooler than he was creating in his furnace. Besides, furnace conditions aren't naturally occurring, especially in this instance. Also, it doesn't account for the building that fell without being hit be a plane. There is a lot wrong with this idiot.

Reading the replies is exactly why we live in an age of misinformation and misdirection. Regardless of who is responsible, please google or do a credible search of controlled demolitions. It is an extremely dangerous job in which very precise calculations are carefully scrutinized in order to drop a building in which it collapses within itself to cause minimal to no damage to surrounding buildings. Buildings just don't collapse in a controlled manner ,which is what every public video of the towers collapsing shows. Jet fuel burns extremely fast and yes other combustibles can increase the temperature, however look up credible scientific info on how long it would take a building constructed to endure what emergency services call a mass critical high rise fire, in which building codes are specifically made and adhered to, for the high rise to withstand hours of intense heat and still remain standing. Please just do a little research of non opinionated and scientific factual info and draw your own conclusions. People who believe one way or the other present all these YouTube and other supposed proof in which you hear non accredited individuals make blanket statements either for or against a position.

Since coming to this thread I been on a binge watching a lot of conspiracy theories on youtube. Not just the 9/11 truther nutjobs but Sandy Hook, ancient astronaut theorists, bigfoot enthusiasts, etc. Hell, I stumbled across a group claiming the Earth is flat and this "fact" is being hidden by NASA. I'm losing hope for humanity.

                      • It doesn't need to melt an I beam. It needs to weaken it. Steel beams become structurally unstable for that weight at significantly lower temperatures.

                        • I also find it funny how people fail to understand that yes, jet fuel can't melt steel, but heat can seriously weaken steel and when steel is under the force of a giant -blam!-ing building bad shit can happen. Idiots.

No, jet fuel can't. But when an office fire that spans over 25 floors reaches temperatures exceeding 2800 degrees Fahrenheit? Yeah, that'll melt some steel.

                          • It just had to soften them. Or just simply weaken them.
