***READ THE COMMENTS*** SO MANY COOL IDEAS FOR DIFFERENT PREFERENCES!!
***AS SOME HAVE NOTED, MANY PEOPLE CALL THIS NORMAL STRAT BUT IT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL NORMAL STRAT SO I CALL IT HYBRID SINCE IT BORROWS FROM THE ORIGINAL AND THE NO-KNIGHT STRATS.
IMO After trying the challenge a few different ways, I think the "Hybrid Numbers" strat is easiest. The strat is a combination of the typical kill-knight and no-knight strats with numbers (assigned order: 1=where Oryx slams, 2=Left of 1, 3=Left of 2).
3 Guardians do platforms.
2 Titans up on top
1 Runner
1. Titans on Daughters platform opposite Oryx kill ogres and any left over knights (esp. knight #4)
**Some like Titans on the bottom, I think it is easier to see all adds on top, but to each his/her own
2. Guardians on platforms kill their knight. Titans kill 4th if needed.
3. Runner Steals Brand, Swords Vessel and meets everyone on top. (Finish Vessel if alive)
4. DPS Oryx and clear adds for ammo and super after stagger.
5. Shadow Phase
6. Repeat 1-5 3 MORE times. (Total of 4 times)
7. Detonate all 16 Orbs (assign this during 2nd to last stagger)
8. Waste Oryx.
9. Grab rewards.
Took us two tries. Easy.
*If you have a better strat please share. I love hearing new ideas.
**I do not claim to have invented this.

2 RepliesThis is the best strat. Did this strat twice and easy clears. Third character people wanted to do the middle strat and went horrible. Also it makes no sense to me. The bubble is in your way and helping out with knights is almost impossible because you cant turn around quick and shoot.
-
This is the way I do it. Of the 4 different strats I've used, this is the best!
-
1 ReplyDid this last night without seeing this post until now. Can vouch this is by far the best strategy. New group of 6 randoms, it took 4 tries. Done!
-
1 ReplyStill do assigned plates. Always have, always will.

Easier way Your teams load out Runner : lightrazer Platformers: tom and good sniper Titans up top: tom Titans kill ogres Players kill Knights Runner kills aura knight guy thingy with raze ( 2 swipes) Titans should be clearing adds at this point Stagger from bottom or top doesn't matter (top makes it easier to jump closer to your blights) Titan (that's not grabbing a blight) still taking adds out as runner is still shooting oryx Then rinse and repeat (Other steps are easy and 99% or the raiders know how to deal with them now)
-
5 RepliesIf the titans are the only ones killing the ogres do the ogres have time to move away from the other blights cause you gotta remember they need to be killed super fast so all the blights are on top of each other for the final round.
-
This is the strat I've been doing since hard mode came out. Can't stand no knight strat, killing the knight eaters is so easy and simple.
-
This is the strat I used on my two completions. I tried bubbles on bottom and that didn't work too well.
-
2 RepliesEvery team ive been in to try this either wont kill thier knight, dies at shade or fucks up at the end.
-
4 RepliesIMO being on ogre control is easier from the ground cause your level with them and closer, therefore they'll go down just a little bit quicker. Did it twice this way with a blessing and weapons bubble.
-
1 ReplyIt was so much fun than No-Knight Shit. I feel good now.

1 ReplyEdited by ay-Man77: 12/17/2015 7:06:50 AMHybrid Number AKA The normal strategy everyone with half a human brain uses
-
Run a weapons and blessings bubble. It's melts ogres
-
5 RepliesSo except for leaving the bombs until the 4th round... The normal way. Would've saved you a bit of time :-)
-
1 Replydo another round if you're having trouble with blights
-
This is how my team did it except we staggered Oryx from the middle instead of the platforms. Same thing though.
-
1 ReplyEXACTLY what we always do and it worked perfectly If anything it was easier those knights and mortars always kill me on the deathsinger plate
-
put a bubble between the wizard pillars and have a floater and static plates.
-
5 RepliesHave Titans run both weapons & blessings! You will NEVER have an Ogre "blink" to the middle. And with everyone killing ads it has plenty of time to rebuild! Did this 3x and it worked perfectly.
-
2 RepliesYou don't need a relic until you detonate orbs, this helps clear ads
-
Skilled/smart teams run BLESSING of light bubble in centre with 2 players using touch of malice for killing ogres. After relic holder calls that he has picked it up, you all head straight to the centre where you will find blessing of light bubble still available. Wait here for a moment for the relic holder to bring the aura to the centre. You then help kill the vessel and any knights that may have slipped through. The 2 people in centre focus purely on enemies and the other 4 stagger oryx. (If your team is weak you can get all 6 to stagger obviously) When you run off to pop your bubble there will be no enemies in sight. This is a completely fool proof way to beat oryx flawlessly everytime with minimal risk of death. even a weak/low level player can be easily carried through with this strategy. Ps. Everyone should be running ToM/sniper/LMG for the most efficent run. For people on plates.. use LMG to help with your ogre.. then pull out your sniper, turn around and shoot your knight twice in the head. IF for some reason you dont kill your knight before its time to head to the middle... just call it out and your whole team can finish it off from the centre. Staying alive is the priority!! as soon as the relic holder calls that he has picked it up, you need to jump off your plate and head straight to the centre weather your knight is dead or not! No risk of deaths this way.

Gunna try this. We all jumped down to the middle once the vessel was down but gunna try staying up in the platforms. Thanks for this
-
You forgot to put in people dying for "no reason" as one of the steps
-
2 RepliesEveryone up top is WAY better than in the middle. Ran it 3 times yesterday with 3 different groups and started off in middle, but everyone kept dying or missing their knights. Moved up top and it took us about 2 tries after that to get it done.
-
1 ReplyIs there a reason you're meeting on Daughters plat to stagger? Much easier for 2 people to drop down than for 4 people to jump up...

1 ReplyEdited by $hirtless Captain Kirk: 12/16/2015 6:07:51 PMSome posted the basic strategy my teams used as well but we had a few wrinkles that made things smoother. Our strategy was dedicated plates with a Titan up top on Ogres. The plate guardian with the relic over it became a floater on Ogres. That was the only "rotation" in our method. For Ogres (old news) damage over time grenades in front of them keep them back. We always had at least 1 hunter run golden gun with celestial nighthawk to eliminate the vessel (whether the runner was hunter or not). Generated orbs at the beginning so he and the ogre killer titan had supers. Once we flinched Oryx, we would move forward with the aura to kill the ADs is the front corners in preparation for the shade. When the shade sequence was about to start we sent warlocks to the back to take care of a few thrall that spawn back there that quickly get inside the shade. The reason we send the warlocks in back is because there is a tendency (not a guarantee) for those in back to get teleported first. That increases the chance that a warlock can "take one for the team" and self revive after the echo slams. Warlock melees the shade for agro and a flame shield. If he does die, self revive. Once we had all four bombs in place, we flinched Oryx the final and did a long 5 second count down to kill ADs to prevent deaths at the end and to ensure virtually simultaneous bomb detonation. Nobody went for bombs until the runner says "go to bombs." Video here from runner's perspective. https://youtu.be/iEv7CHQSVR0
