Why Ghorn and Icebreaker weren't OP

For everyone saying Gjally and Icebreaker should not come back honesty think why these weapons were OP. Every boss in year one including raid bosses were standard bullet sponge bosses that did nothing but stand their and get hit while you fight a bunch of adds. If you think of that Ghorn would have been OP in year 2 name one instance in the new raid where Ghorn would have outperformed spindle or malice on the raid boss fights. Also if Ghorn or icebreaker was considered OP because of how often they were used or the damage then why do we have spindle or ToM to be honest since these are pretty much the meta for the raid. People say It was unfair because of the LFG groups only recruiting people with Ghorn. That is false, this is 100% bungie's fault. Relying on a source like Reddit or even your forums to have a good community for helping players and not trying to do things as quickly as possible is irresponsible on the developers. If this game had an in game LFG or chat or group matchmaking system for events then I guarantee the raid completion percent would be up and everyone would be able to get into events whether they did or did not have Gjally or even icebreaker. Don't think so? Then play any real mmo there are literally groups everyday that do fresh runs with no requirements or at least a chat box or social areas so no one feels left out.
