Exotic engrams need to drop at 320.
I'm 318 light and not even having a chance for my engrams to drop at 320 is just plain stupid.
I don't need 310s and they don't help me progress in any way.
All I'm suggesting is at least a chance for them to drop at 320.
We worked our way through 290 exotics, then 310s. It should only make sense that we progress to 320.
The game is designed for progression, why should it stop at 310 when 320 is the top?
:EDIT: Thanks for the bumps and positive feedback. In my opinion, this would be a great change to our loot system, if it's done correctly.

I can't even believe you would conceive of a system where you are bias to one audience. Nothing against the pvp community. I just don't want to pvp. I also don't want to wait for weeks on end to upgrade a few very important exotics that I, and likely a lot of other people, find impactful for pve. Fix this crap

If they dropped at 320 you won't waste time running the -blam!-ing raid over and over and over just to get what you need......oh sorry Bungie was I not suppose to say that.

Complete full raid, store everything in vault, delete character and spend $30 to get a booster, level from 25 to 40, complete raid again. That's what bungie wants us to do!

2 RepliesWell, you got 290 because you were under 310, now you get 310 because you are over 310, to get 320 you would have to be at or over 320 for 320's. Challenge mode Oryx should drop 320 exotics since it is a special event, lighthouse should too, I got a 310 Jade Rabbit from the challenge and not a single 320 primary

Agreed it's been a royal pain in the ass to progress, I don't have time to do the new raid and I refuse to touch PvP. This would at least make it possible to get some where.

honestly. make the raid gear sought after other to infuse weapons that i like. And give ppl more ways to get 320 outside the raid. more ppl will do the content if they have the light level and simply want the gear because it has the best perks. i dont like being forced to use weapons and armour i dont necissarily like the look of and or the perks they have. bring back rerolling while your at it. that was awesome.

3 RepliesI've always thought that the exotics should have continued to drop at max level, but according to my friends I'm alone in that one. I get the ones you can buy coming in at 280, that makes sense. if you're just gonna buy it with marks then ya you should grind it up. I also think that once you unlock a quest bound exotic (I.e. Boolean Gemini, TFC, Ace of Spades) those should transfer to your own loot pool. I also think it would be fun if there was quest bound armor, but I guess I'm just crazy like that

Idk how I see people getting 320 SRL helmets for 5th and 6th place but I get 3 Osiris helmets all below 308... Beat oryx and get a 313 fusion rifle... 90% of the end game loot is disappointing and not even useful for infusion.

1 ReplyAgreed. All drops should be occurring at a light level consistent to meet or exceed to the max available level., I submitted a similar feedback request a while back. My "favorite example" is being 308 light then doing a bunch of activity and hitting the cryptarch for my collection of engrams. Light level 308 so why do I still get gear dropping or decoding engrams from a low of 265 ?!?!!? to <300 ?!?!?!!? Great post. Keep up the feedback!!

Bump oryx challenge mode today a 310 light beyond nemesis dropped for me while I was already wearing a 310 LBN. I'm a 318. Simply auto sharded.
