Several Awoken Guards looked towards the flying Ghost then to the door where it came from. I moved Wesson out of the line of view and gave an embarrassed smile. "Sorry about that!... Sorry..."
The Awoken Guards just shrugged their shoulders and continued on with their business. "Stupid Guardians..." one of them muttered from the crowd.
I sighed and looked at Wesson. "Well here's an open door... Can't help you much after this though."
Wesson peeks out the door to see the open space in front of the hangar. "That's all the help I need." He turned to look at Aristotle. "Okay, Art have our ships fly in front of the hangar in fifteen minutes. Contact Virgil and Athena. Have them transmat Dante and Diana as soon as the ships pass the hangar, whether those two are ready or not. This has to be timed perfectly."
"Got it. Um, fifteen minutes is a long time. What will you do until then?" Aristotle said. Wesson just looked at him. "Oh no."
"Just try to keep up." Wesson said with a grin. He looked at Josiah. "Thanks for your help, uh, um..."
"Josiah." I said holding out my hand.
"Josiah, nice meeting you." Wesson said while shaking his hand. Then, he ran off. He pointed where Charles went. "Catch that ghost! He's trying to smuggle illegal arms into the Reef!" Wesson yelled as he ran.
I stood there in utter silence and pinched the bridge of my nose. "I'm going to get court martialed because of him..."
The guards quickly moved to catch Charles and sprinted down the hall. I moved out of the doorway and waited for them to come back, knowing they would find me later.
About half an hour later, the guards came back with Charles in a shackle. He was pitching a royal fight and the guards didn't look very pleased.
"Do you hear me?! This is an outrage! I demand a lawyer!"
The guard stopped infront of me. "Is this your Ghost?" She sounded seriously annoyed and angry.
"Sadly yes..." I stood up.
"Why was he running?"
"He got spooked while trying to look around..."
"Someone said he was smuggling firearms..."
"I told you I didn't! And where is my lawyer!?" Charles shook in the shackle slightly.
"I'm sorry... He wouldn't do that."
"He already has..." The guard looked at Charles.
"That is past criminal life-ist! Acusing me based on how I acted before."
The guard did not look amused.
"Someone was pulling an awful prank and I'm really sorry he did."
"I aught to scan him just to be sure..."
Charles hovered silent for a moment. "What makes you think you need to do that!? My boy already said that I didn't do anything!"
I sighed. "I'll take him..."
The guard looked at me with a blank expression. "Why should I ev..."
"I'll still don't have my laywer!! I want my lawyer! As a citizen of the First and Last City, I am required by law to be given a lawyer!!"
The guard just glared at Charles and shoved him at me. "Never mind, just take him."
"Hey! Take this shackle off!!" Charles said as I let the chain drop to the floor. He slowly began to sink as he struggled to stay afloat.
"As by law, misbehaving Ghosts are required to stay shackled all day."
"It doesn't say that in your rule book!
"It does now." The guard clicked her heels and walked away with the rest.
"This is Ghost abuse do you hear me?! My lawyer will hear about this!! He will and I will make sure you are sued beyond belief for this!! I swear it on my..." By now he had already sunken to the floor. "Oh never mind." He looked up at me. "Little help?"
"I think I should just leave you here, that chain goes very well with your color."
"Haha... come on please?"
I picked him and carried him back to the room and set him on the table. He managed to right himself and float slightly in the air. "Finally... felt all my Light rushing to my head..."
I sat on my bed and sighed. "Well today was eventful."
"Your telling me! I almost got dismantled for nothing!"
"You are still harboring things aren't you?"
He fell quiet. "Noo...."
"Charles."
"Its nothing! Really...."
"Charles."
"Its nothing bad!... depending on who you ask..."
"Give it here."
"Oh look at the time! Good night!" He instantly fell over and made snoring noises.
"Fine stay in the chain."
He was silent for several moments. "It will be fine... oh hell here!" He transmatted sveral screenshots of things.
"Seriously Charles!"
"Hey, I'll be able to get him back for what he did."
"No Charles..."
"Fine... but I'm keeping them anyway."
I sighed. "Whatever." I rolled over and closed my eyes. "I'm too tired to care..."
"Fine be that cynical."
I shook my head and went still as I let myself calm down from the days events.

A great combo tale, defiantly felt like you captured each characters likeness. It would be cool to see more crossovers in the future.
-
Great work, loving this novel so much!
-
Dante's breeding little demons again!
-
Is Charles a creeper/stalker/rapist all in one?
-
-
That was great...
-
That was brilliant. Though, I have a feeling one of my characters is gonna want Charles dead now.
