2 RepliesNope. To be max level you could only have a specific set of armor. No variety at all!
-
I agree this one's a little irratating.
-
2 RepliesI loved the old leveling system.. The new system is as follows: 1)Potentially find raid group that isn't dickish 2)RNG for gear drops 3)RNG for high light level on said drops 4)RNG for decent stat rolls 5)RNG for perk rolls 6)RNG on the revolver chamber as it spins, the ultimate game. You are tired, tired of the monotony. You need a release. As you slowly raise the gun to your head, Bungie takes to Twitter. You feel reassured, they take care of their fans after all, right? "$30 booster pack on sale now!" *BANG* *THUD* It's over my child. You are free.

VoG was the best content destiny has had to offer
-
1 ReplyYes! Because it didn't revolve entirely around RNG.
-
5 RepliesLets all admit....TTK is probably the worst period of DLC in Destiny
-
Hey guys, I'm doing the antiquated rune quest to get a 300 light artifact. I'm here to ask, do I have to be the one activating the rune? Or can it be activated by a friend and still count as completion in the quest? I'm asking this because I don't have a antiquated rune.

1 ReplyInfusing is a good idea. I hated reaching level 30 or 32, just to see everyone and their mom wearing the exact same thing I was. Also you don't see max characters running around everywhere. It's much harder for someone to reach max Light than it is to achieve level 32 CE gear.
-
Yes you do because the old level system sucks. And it sucks so bad, with teeth
-
4 RepliesPEW PEW PEW!
-
Yes, but they should still have infusion. Used to matter what level your char had, now anyone who isnt 40 is either a noob or starting an alt. In a way, its basically the same, but the light ratings dont always show. I liked having my character level visible and actually important. Still tho, keep infusion. I dont want to run around wearing Oryx's ass for a hat all the time; if I get an extra, I can still infuse it into the helm I prefer. No reason this system could not have worked with the old level system.

-
Yes. The whole reason I came back to this goddamn game was it was supposed to be an experienced based leveling system. I haven't seen any of that. When I drop this again, it'll be for good. I can't trust bungie anymore.
-
3 RepliesI've given up going any farther because honestly I don't have the time for the amount of RNG in Kings Fall. Needing something to drop and then needing it have a good roll AND be a high enough light is just too much. Grinding VoG was better.
-
Yeah I do, this new light level system has put me off to doing the raid anymore, especially when they canceled the work of doing normal mode by increasing the max light again making you have to grind for more gear yet again. Don't get me wrong I like the kings fall raid but running three characters on hard mode to only get ghosts from oryx and nothing else when I have yet to get a hard mode helm or a hard mode primary has burnt me out, I took a break for weeks and only came back to do sparrow racing, which I have really enjoyed, but yeah the old system was a lot better than this.
-
I do. Infusion is nice, but the light loss is unacceptable. Especially on exotic infusion. It's an obvious way to keep players "chasing the carrot" as it were.
-
-
I still cant believe the Crucible quests award an emblem. All the grinding. 15 throwing knife kills etc etc turned me off of Destiny so much. I didn't expect to get a game breaking weapon but at bare minimum a 300 artifact or class item for the weeks it took to finish the Crucible quests.
-
Infusion is cool but the fact you have to roll for the item and the light value is ass
-
1 ReplyI like the infusion system. I want to raid I can, ib, srl, crucible, patrol, strikes, nightfall...doesn't matter I still get items that potentially help me level my light. And I get to do the activities I want instead of being forced to do only one type of activity. But then again I play for fun and the social aspect of the game.
-
7 RepliesI miss the times when I was able to wear the makeshift scarf (the first hunter class item ever) and I would stay at my light level.

56 RepliesEdited by dead1750: 12/14/2015 9:49:12 PMHouse of wolves era was the best, everyone had a clear and concise way of getting to max level, and it made old raids relevant again, they weren't level 32-34 but if you wanted to wear a full Vault of glass armour set you could, and still be powerful enough to face the highest endgame content. Etheric light was one of the best things Bungie has done so far. Edit - Thanks for the replies and likes guardians!
-
I just like old destiny better. Vanilla destiny was not good, but it's saying something when it's better than what it is now.
-
2 RepliesI don't, however I don't think cosmetic items like the ghost or class item should have affected your light level.
-
1 ReplyEdited by YOLORuinsLives: 12/15/2015 9:25:32 PMi enjoy it because it made vog armor and crotas end armor relevant and a little bit different... it wasnt just that one specific raid armor it was all the raid armor.... instead we now run around looking the same like commies
-
I do because with the old system I didn't have a vault full of high light level shit that I might need just in case.
