Just deleted my 314 Titan and 313 Hunter together with all the good stuff.
Then I uninstalled the game from my PS4, after 306 hours of gaming.
If you wonder why read on.
The reasons I did this are the following:
- Grind, grind and grind.
- RNG awards (to get you addicted).
- Lack of new content / repetetive
- Introduction of microtransactions.
- Did I mention grind?
Basically, when you (quickly) finished the limited content, you feel like a rat getting a small reward for completing the same few mazes over and over again. Is that what you really want to spend your time doing?
You might ask why I still spent so much time playing Destiny? Because I love gaming. Gaming should be fun and not feel like a chore. I still game other games, but I also spend more time with family and friends.
Bye bye, Destiny.
EDIT: I never thought so many would take time to comment on this post. Obviously I hit a nerve or does all farewell-post get hundreds of comments? I actually had much more fun in the forum, than I have had in the game for weeks. Thanks!
Respect and peace to all faithfull Destiny gamers and also to those who decided to use a short human life on other (gaming?) activities.

All farewell posts get hate... Mainly cause it doesn't make sense to quit a game and then announce that you are leaving. But, to each their own. Adios!

Just deleted my 314 Titan and 313 Hunter together with all the good stuff. The reasons I did this are the following: I am a crybaby and wanted to get attention, instead of just leaving quietly, please everyone listen to my sob story.
Fixed.

306? That's it? You found it repetitive and boring after 306 hours? You realize how many people have triple your amount and more that still have things to do? You ever play an mmo before? Don't get it. If it's not for you then quit, no one is going to do anything about you leaving, people leave. Least of all Bungie will care, we're just a number, and they already got your money/will get it when you come back to destiny 2
