I shouldn't say worst, because it's actually really good at two things - Daughters and Oryx. It's good at those things, obviously, because the aura is able to circumvent the negative aspect of the exotic perk. And since it's so good, the positive turns into a negative - it becomes a raid requirement. Every group wants people to use it. Everyone who has it uses it. And everyone who doesn't have it can't get into a raid to get it.
If you step outside of the raid, or even just outside of those two encounters, Touch is worthless. It really is. There are absolutely no scenarios in which anyone would recommend using it. I've tried to use it elsewhere, even on patrol. It sucks. In a strike, forget about it. You'll kill yourself before you kill them.
I'm not posting any groundbreaking information here, it's just been bugging me lately - this is THE raid weapon this time around, and yet it is absolutely useless unless you find a way to negate the main perk.
tl;dr - ToM needs to be reworked into something more useful because it causes unnecessary raid drama and isn't usable outside of two boss fights.

As long as you got a good sniper, tom is irrelevant.
-
I've already used one of mine for infusion may do the same with the other two

You totally dont know how to use the gun it thats the case. You have unlimeted bonus damage dealing ammo. But you also have a secondary. Learn to switch when you need, dont let you health go critical. Life will be fine. I swear by the gun. Youve got bonus damage man. Crit hit target till health is about a 3rd. Switch to sniper. Or preferred wep. Rinse repeat as necessary. Take cover, when needed. Its a solid exotic. Boolean would be awesome if it buffed armor at a percentage based off shots. But its pretty solid too.

I beat hard raid before I had ToM. Not really a requirement. Hasn't really made the raid any easier for me. I still prefer not using it
-
It's a scout rifle. Not an auto, it's one of the best weapons in the game if used properly.
-
1 ReplyIdk it's pretty good in crucible whenever I use it.
-
1 ReplyWell unlike ghally, ToM is available to everyone, not just lucky ppl
circumvent the negative aspect of the exotic perk.
This is what I would call "try hard" English lol

4 RepliesVanilla Bad Juju was like using a bundle of sticks that shot rubber bands.
-
Uhm..... Have you used it with blessings of light? You can down any boss insanely fast if you focus fire it
-
2 RepliesToM + Blessing of Light = massive pve and pvp damage
-
I've killed many in pvp with ToM. Git gud,non-vex.
-
2 RepliesNext challenge, kill Oryx without ToM confirmed.

It is an amazing Titan scout rifle it does so much damage. It is best in the raid but who cares it is easily achievable by anyone in this game. You can easily do normal mode with ToM to get the gun.
-
Blessing of light. That is all
-
4 RepliesIt wrecks anything if used with blessings of light.
-
Just because you see all the enemies doesn't mean you have to hold the trigger down the whole time.
-
False sir.

It can own in PvP in skilled hands, as well as pve with the right team (e.g. having defender Titan with blessings) It's a risk/reward weapon unlike any other in the game, and that is what makes it truly exotic. It's not for everyone, nor does it work for every situation, but that's what other exotics are for; to fill a niche and to be used strategically
-
Used it for the scout rifle, crucible quest...worked just fine
-
4 RepliesJust because you can't handle the gun outside of an aura where you can die from it doesn't mean it's anywhere near bad. Don't worry, I'll say it. Git Gud Scrub!

It destroys in IB surprisingly
