I remember back in year one where there was maybe 1 or 2 snipers a crucible match because that's how they were, but because how easy snipers are now people have flocked to it like flies on poo. 1000 Yard Stare (1000 Yard Carry) is just disgusting but stillpiecer, and defiance of yasmin are following close behind. I have heard of the 1000 Yard Stare high target acquisition and I am wondering if you could lower it so that not just anyone can pick it up and call themselves a pro. Also the hunters have 0 defense. While Warlocks and Titans get to be a hard time killed (Especially Titan's Fist of Havoc which gives immunity frames) anything takes out a hunter's super. I mean if it's going to be like that we need to be faster. Any chance we can get some balance here?

First off your argument of defense is adorable. Hunter can stat out their armor just as much as a worlock can so their numbers are the same. The only class that can have perfect armor (so im told) is thr striker titan. It is up to you if you want a squishy fast hunter or a slow heavy hunter. Second you only see those snipers because those are big ones. (Raid sniper and first high impact sniper given out of a big yet simple pve questline)

11 RepliesLook. I think there's something you need to realize. First you piss about fusions. Then you whine about shotguns. Now you complain about snipers. See a pattern? How long will it take you to realize that I and other skilled player will destroy you with any weapon? The weapon does not determine how a player will perform. The player's skill will determine how they do. How long will it take you to realize that a half decent player will destroy you with whatever they want to use, because it's about skill, not the gun. Give me a sniper. Give me a shotgun. Give me a fusion. Give me a sidearm. The outcome will be the same. Good players will always beat out worse players, no matter what gun they're using. Also, you have summoned me.

...hunters are good enough right now.

Thy salt kingdom come, salts will be done, so as it is in sodium. Forgive us our non saltiness, as we forgive those who hold salt to us and lead us not in to saltiness but deliver us from its sodium chloride compound. Amen.

1 ReplyYasmin has higher AA my friend. 69 to be percise
i swear I'm serious this is not a joke ;—;
5 RepliesEdited by WharfRat95: 12/18/2015 3:50:02 PMSnipers havent changed since vanilla except for the fact that they have fall off damage now... Epitaph, final boss, and supremacy worked the same as snipers do now, people were just to busy cross maping people with fusions and shotguns Edit: defiance of aim assist, stillaiming for you, and here i aim for you, are all higher aim assist then 1000yard.
-
What data do you have showing there are more snipers percent wise now then in year 1?
-
I remember back in year 1 when there were snipers all over in the trials of osiris..... oh wait not much has changed. What game mode did you play?
-
2 RepliesI believe hunters just need the hit detection of defenders fixed. I'm not even a Hunter main, but if played sneaky and defensively, they're monsters. Sure they don't have high armor, but their neutral game combined with their speed makes them hard to deal with in PvP and keeps them alive in pve(I'm always reviving Warlocks and Titans)
-
People don't realize snipers have always been this good do they?
-
While I agree that snipers are getting a bit out of hand I think the Hunter supers are totally fine. I don't think it's a coincidence the leaderboards are full of them.

1 ReplyBungie made three classes because they all have different strengths and weaknesses

1 Reply1000 yard crutch*

3 RepliesEdited by xDOOM CREW INCx: 12/16/2015 7:03:09 AMIt's crucibabies fault that the only viable special weapon left is snipers now. You've cried so Hard everything else was nerfed into uselessness.

8 RepliesHunter - light armor Warlock - medium armor Titan - heavy armor Hunters aren't supposed to have huge defense, their abilities and skill tree make up for it.
-
7 RepliesYou guys can Shadestep to get away or get close and shotgun ppl... I think hunters have every advantage in the neutral ground.
-
1 ReplyLast I checked 1k has one of the lower aim assists
-
9 Replies1000 yard stare only needs its aim assist reduced by 5-7 points to make it more balanced. I believe it has the highest base aim assist of any year two legendary sniper
-
The 1000 yard stare is far from having high aim assist compared to all the other snipers in taken king look it up. The Yasmin is a lot higher.
-
Us hunters has alwayse been about skill so I'm not looking for a buff. Just for bungie to replace our nerfed grenades!
-
The sniper is the new crucible crutch. There will always be a crutch, but this one is by far the most boring.

2 RepliesSnipers have always been the same, the problem is people like you crying for nerfs First fusions then shotguns now snipers Auto's, hand cannons, pulse rifles, and guess what Mida is the next "OP" primary You guys need to "git gud" its not the gun thats OP its just your lack of skill and no matter whats nerfed or buffed you will always suck

2 RepliesNERF IT

2 RepliesPeople need to stop acting like spoiled children just because all the supers aren't exactly the same

3 RepliesEdited by kendallhollo2012: 12/16/2015 7:27:34 AMYou must be a new player. Hunter supers are high risk high reward. Supers are only supposed to grant you 2ish kills a hit. We don't need better supers. Supers should not get you half your kills. By the way. Snipers haven't changed since launch. The reason people are using them now is because they just don't have any other options. Go play with fusion riffles, shotguns, and sidearms and notice how terrible those weapon types are. They are so hard to get kills with.

6 RepliesFirst. Fist of Havoc deserves that invincibility frame. It's a situational super intended for objective suppresion. You try taking on 4-6 people shooting you without it in mid super just to get shut down each time. You'd be -blam!-ing useless.
