Getting my account banned thanks to the destiny community (Randoms/Matchmaking)
So I'm still trying to fight a ban I received today for having an offensive psn name. I'll hide it as to not hurt anyone's feelings:

Hahahaha, I am at a loss for words for this. The only game I play is destiny. That's it, just destiny and for me to get my name banned is horrible. I just don't get why this had to happen. I just want the community to know that just because player may or may not play like you or your style doesn't mean you should report them. I know I'm just ranting now but I'm just baffled by all this. I guess I'm just looking into some insight in the situation and I am currently on the phone trying to fight this. If you have a problem, do it like every other child does and just message me with your hate instead of reporting me, please. Hahaha, wish me luck in fixing this and I hope I see you all on destiny.

Update: Finished speaking to a customer service representative who also agreed that the name wasn't worthy of a ban so they took the case to Corporate and now I have to wait 7 or more days until I get an answer. Wouldn't it be awesome if by some christmas miracle Bungie stepped in and asked for my account to get unbanned? Hahahaahaha, who am I kidding, that would never happen. There goes my challenge rewards for oryx. >____<
By the way, already changed the name once from "OmarsJigglyWang" to "OmarBinLaggin" and the name was approved AND considered NOT offensive by SONY themselves. So changing my name again is out of the question and if I don't get unbanned then my account will be gone forever and I will just quit gaming since all I ever played was destiny. (I have Blops 3 but I didn't like it. Destiny is the only game for me).
Edit: Just wanted to post the rules for an inappropriate ID name according to Sony Playstation:Offender created an ID that was deemed inappropriate in some way, including but not limited to containing profanity, sexual references, or hate speech language.
I honestly can't see anything in my name that would warrant a ban.
Edit: Just to clarify a bit, I'm a Latino named Omar. I live in the states. The fact that you assume I'm Arabic or from another country (Mind you, I am fine with everyone) is a bit racist on your part. Show respect to everyone and they in return will respect you. It's kinda sad I have to put this up here because of so much hate comments below.

Well, someone officially had my PSN name banned so I was forced to change it.. She said my entire name was offensive.. Now all my trophies were reset and I lost all my PSN friends list... My PSN name was Get_Ballz_Deep which was rooted from playing Madden football, nothing offensive with throwing hail marys in a video game... Thanks to trolls on these forums since this is the only place ive been threatened to be reported because of my name..

3 RepliesWe've hit that point in time where everything insults everybody. Hell, even somethings you do insults people just because they disagree with it. The name was pretty funny in my opinion and a clever play on words, and even then some people are too god damn stupid to know what the definition of a word is sometimes.

When you create a username you agree to not violate psn rules... Ps4 was used by terrorists to organise attacks... Don't be surprised a name like yours got banned. You deserve that ban. Ps: we all like jokes but this isn't the right time to use such a username. Psn is made of all kind of users from kids to elder people, and as in every community there should be mutual respect, you may not be funny to people that lost family in those attacks, you might think you have a funny name for some but for many others you are not funny at all.

6 RepliesSo just a quick update since I can't edit my post anymore: I spoke to Sony today on 13/14/2015 at around 10 am. I was told that it was a permanent ban but as they were at fault with accepting the name as non offensive, they asked for an executive decision on giving my account back but on the condition that I need to change my name. I did. I wanted to say one thing. You win, cry babies. Those of you who complained and reported me, you win. You got what you wanted from your crying. I've never been so disappointed in how a portion of the community as treated me. All I will say is karma sucks when it happens to you or you go through something similar. To the rest who have support me these past few days and gave me words of encouragement, thank you. You are the part of the community I appreciate most and love. I love this game and I love the friendships you can create on this game. Thank you for the support and for backing me up when my back was on the wall. You are what makes Destiny great. I love you guys. So for those who wish, seeing as I will lose all my friends from the name change, here is the new name I have chosen (Yeah, got if from a cool dude in the comments) to represent me: OmarBanWaggon. Add me if you like and lets move on and enjoy this game the way it was meant to be enjoyed. Thank you again for the support and I'll see you in the tower, guardians.

That's ridiculous that would get banned. There's nothing offensive about that. People are such pussies these days it's absurd. I think it's pretty funny myself. Could maybe change to BeenLaggin instead of BinLaggin. That should be simple enough to say well I play destiny. And lag is 90% destiny :P Id also ask to be refunded on psn for these days you can't play.

Dude, rule number one of playing PvP on any game: [b][u]DO NOT LEAVE YOURSELF OPEN TO REPORTING[/u][/b] Salty kids will butthurt-report you for anything they can. Anything to try to get back at you. Case in point: Im a very average FPS player, usually hover around a 1 to 1.2 KD in preferred game modes. I was a raid sherpa on Destiny, and people remarked on how relaxed and easygoing my groups were. If I nudged someone off track on Forza when they were holding their race line, I'll pull over and let em by. Thats the kind of gamer I am. Im also 87% avoided on Xbox 360 for being "Unsporting" bahahahaha XD With a PSN name like that, you'll continue to have problems. It amused me a little, but it will always leave you vulnerable to butthurt kiddies. Try to think of something that will annoy them, whilst also being innocent and clean. That'll really rub their faces into it. Good luck and good hunting.
