Ultimate solution to PVP

Going to try to make this as short as possible- The weapons in this game are as balanced as they've ever been. A player can use almost any weapon in the game and do well/poor based off of their personal performance. Although there will always be weapons that are stronger than others. At the moment TLW is shining, and that's fine.... for now. Things will change. But the one thing that will not change is how people play. Your choice of primary hardly matters, because in this game; at the moment. There are no gunfights. Why? because there is no reason to. The reason being, is because of sniping. You've heard it many times, "snipers are OP", "Aim Assist is too high", "nerf 1000 yard". I know people can do some crazy things with snipers and that's good for them. But the last thing that I want to happen is what happened to shotguns. Nerfing a symptom, instead of the problem. If you look at the rebalance updates, majority of the changes have been nerfs. damage reduction, impact, range. This ends up slowing the game down, which again- is fine. But when the game gets too slow, it gets passive. turning into a snipefest. Staring down a lane indefinitely until they are threatened. Leading to running away and holding onto shutdown supers. The worst thing about it is, this game is actually fairly balanced, so what could be done about this? Nerf snipers so that people can't reliably hit their shots? (indirectly watering down skilled players). In my opinion, the thing that needs to be addressed is the "radar". I put that in quotes because it's less of a radar and more of a motion tracker. It doesn't tell you where people directly are, more so the general direction aided by the shape of the map. (behind doors, hallways, walls). --- ---- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- The problem with this is that a person will hardscope in that general direction indefinitely. For as long as they are alive and don't feel the need to move. This passive playstyle does not work as well in objective gametypes such as salvage, rumble and control. I feel that either a significant reduction in radar range or a radar revamp is required to make the competitive gameplay flow again. This is not a rant, It's just a concern that I have because I want to see people enjoy pvp again. I don't think this change will negatively affect anyone because not only is it global, but it allows people to use what they want to; instead of what they feel they have to. TL;DR: reduce radar range or replace the system entirely. & although Inferno can be fun it is not the answer for standard pvp What are your thoughts on this?
