Weekly What's Update
Ooof! So we gave out the Autoupdate, and we tried to be as clear as possible, but of course misconceptions persist and folks are angry about all sorts of stuff, some legitimate, some mental. Today, we're addressing most of them.

My question is why/ how can you consider team killing or suicide cheating? I mean, its not like you hacked your x-box or decided to hit the standby button. Some people just want to be idiots. i do tem kill/suicide sometimes but mostly it is because idiots on my team are teabagging/cursin/racism/11 years old/ just bein idiots so i think bungie should not consider teamkilling/suicide cheating cause it doesnt break the x-box live contract

bungie whats up with the guardians because i really get ticked off when i just drop down dead and it says that the guardians kill me so please tell me what the heck is up with them please in the next undate get rid of them and also what it the point in having them in the first place because as i said they are really annoying plus my brother has been experiancing some troubles with the train on terminal he has not been able to see it half of the time thanks for read my topic ps i dont really like writing in sentences.

but isn't the idea of music blaring out of the warthog an awsome idea bugie if you see this you should think about somehow to get the music we download onto our xbox's onto the warthog, at least in custom games

Ok i love almost all of bungie's games i am not only playing almost any game i find but i also am reading and studying game programming. i really dont mind if you dont put this on the public viewing list but i would love to know some recommended colleges or places that i could learn how to do the hardcore programming. also you guys r making halo 3 or are you not releasing the name and/or other info. email: Leprechaun69001@yahoo.com

I would gladly teach anyone a super jump i know a lot of superjumps, nbut i don't usually use them in matchmaking(exept team training) but here is the thing any one can do a super jump if they know how therefore making it fair

I have been banned twice now and i dont know why. my gamertag is hobo26.if you can tell me the reason or give me the number to bungie that would help because i dont mod.and if some looser got there ass handed to them by me and where mad that they lost and left me feedback for no reason then that is bull%$#&.

I was playing a game that had some lag in it, and most of the people were saying somebody was using standby. Then they started saying that i was the one using standby just because i was winning. They obviosly didn't know what lag or standby was, and i don't even have a standby button on my modem, so can you explain standby for the people who don't know what it is? Thanks

Hi Frankie, First off all hats-off that you're finding the time to answer some of our questions while you must be busy with the development of Halo 3 ;). Having said that, here are my questions, and it's related to the Halo Movie: - I know you probably can't go details because off all of the legal stuff but could you give us a hint if the script for the halo movie is based on the halo books (which one), or the games, or perhaps a combination of both? - And who would you like to see play some of our favorite halo characters? The autoupdate Isn't helping me because I've been modded all most the whole time I've played matchmaking I've been modded. I was a 35 and now I am a 21 in Team Slayer.

From what i heard Halo 2.5 is comfirmed to be released with the Xbox 360. Also i heard it only updates on multiplayer, my sources could be wrong though. Hopefully they can fix the superjumping and other crap. And as a bonus the graphics will kick even more ass to.

but is anyone gonna answer my question and anothers question about pimping the warthog? if you have music downloaded onto your xbox hardrive thn you should be able to play it over the halo2 warthog and other vehiciles................ but is this considered cheating?, i was in teampreview, team slayer on backwash. then 2 poeple on the other team just say hey buddha kill me just assasinate me. is this considered cheatingon there accounts? well iwe all took the advantadge and won, but it is just stupid how people so this. and in team slayer, i played on my bros account because i got bored with playin the higher ones with no 1 to play with, so i went in and started owning some noobs, then i get stuck with alot of people who just betray and suicide, i was like wtf are you doing?!?!?!?!?!? it is just stupid like can they just be banned from team slayer cause everything else doesn't matter. and then in the post game lobby when ever you lose there is always some big arguement...PEOPLE GET A LIFE IT IS ONLY A GAME(a fun game at that but still) stop complaining just say good game and get out like i do. something should be done cause it is really annoying [Edited on 7/24/2005]
