This will help a lot of you who are having trouble with the ammo stacking.
A lot of people are posting about their duplicate stacks dropping into two half stacks after the glitch is completed the first time. It appears this is something you simply have to work around, but there is a way you can still ramp to large numbers. For example, if you have 6 fusion cores, perform the glitch to yield a total of 12 fusion cores, you'll drop those and notice they separate into two stacks of 6. To increase your overall yield, you'll need to do this: Drop the stack of 12, which will separate into two stacks of 6. Have dogmeat perform the glitch on one of the (6) stacks. You'll pick it up, he'll drop a phony stack of 6 or just one. Without picking up the phony/one, perform the glitch another time on the other stack of 6. Again do not pick up what dogmeat drops. At this time you should have two phony stacks on the ground, and 12 fusion cores in your inventory. Drop the stack of 12, it'll separate into two stacks of 6. You should now have 4 stacks of fusion cores on the ground now. Save the game. Exit to menu. Load the save. Pick up all your stacks, then drop them again. This time you'll notice you drop 3 stacks. Two stacks of 6, and one stack of 12. This can be repeated to turn the 12 into a 24, the 24 into a 48, and so on. Its a bit much, but it beats being limited to duping a stack of 6 over and over again. Beware, doing this to the extremes may cause your game to crash
Hope they don't patch this. I don't see the harm in duplicating items since you can only get so many caps from selling things anyway.
The cap glitch allowed you to buy things that would otherwise be endgame weapons and armor, so I get that.
I had seen these patch fixes coming. So I didn't update the game at allllllll. And I won't till I do all the things I want. Mostly trophies but even then.
did any one see that this is a single player ... i say its your game do as you wish your not harming any one if your making 24 million 45 rounds .. HES GOIN TO WAR lol
Ok so I'm doing this glitch and there is a notable side effect. I dropped 16 fusion cores and did the glitch, then I wanted to do it again, but instead of dropping 32 fusion cores I dropped two bundles of 16. I'm going to do further testing to see if there is a way around this.
