Soooo those of us who did buy the book is it just an "oh well we're sorry" situation that Bungie will try and sweep under the rug quickly as possible or what? And yes I'm salty, very salty, as in dead sea salty!!

Everyone who glitched getting stuff from the book can no longer use any of it unless they buy the book so you can be a special snowflake again

mate you should know by now, that Bungie a) doesnt care about what players want or what needs fixing, and b) they are 105999x faster to fix a thing that is preventing them from generating more money. (so essentially, they are a perfect comparison to any government, haha) so in this case, the hotfix is out for a day now already, nobody who exploited that book can equip their gear that they got through it, and they need to buy the book in order to be able to do so. so worry not, no one has the gear besides the people who bought the book :)

I hope not. Only those who played should get the gear. It should be locked from the exploiters accounts so that if they want it they have to pay 1000 silver
