Why was Hawkmoon Nerfed again?
I mean, now it's safe to say my Lashmoon is far superior as (I believe) the LitC Nerf only applies to hawkmoon. Correct? And that ranged nerf is pretty severe... -20 to a weapon that was never quite the best.
It's a darn shame.

Because it was still fantasic in the Pulse Rifle Meta! The thing that made it OP was the damage and range, so they eliminated one of the OP stats.

Another reason why my Finnala's HawkPerilMoon is a beast. More Range than the Hawkmoon, LiTC and Hot Swap so [b]even more[/b] Accuracy than they already have been given. It shits on the Hawk in all ways but the cosmetics. No gun will ever look as good as the Hawkmoon

Easier headshots, killed range, and barely any reserve ammo? Two negatives and one positive. Was two and one prior change, they just shuffled the deck. Should be better in pvp though. Pve not so much.

I have the year two hand cannons. Most matchs of Crucible I play is either melee/shotgun range for sniper/pulse/scout rifle range. Hand cannons just don't fit my style like they did in year one

4 RepliesEdited by hjoshua09: 12/9/2015 3:39:06 PMIt isn't as bad as you might think. It still two shots, and the accuracy is pretty good. Plus, now you can use Ag Bal (needed for the nearly universal two shot). The main problem was the accuracy. Thank god for the fix.

Because bungie fails to see that they have nerfed all other handcannons into the ground so rather than buffing them they are just gonna nerf the only good one.... Hawkmoon

Because even with the buff to first curse, hawkmoon would have still been superior. So they nerfed it more to make either first curse or hawkmoon an adequate choice. They don't want everyone just using hawkmoon

6 RepliesThe increased range and acuracy for hand cannons all across the board so they nerfed it for hawkmoon cus it would just be too op.

1 ReplyThey increased hand cannon ADS accuracy overall. Hawkmoon got a range nerf and LITC shot multiplier reduced slightly.
