Im just really getting into the crucible and its time to play with discipline, intellect or strength. What do u guys use with your warlock? I was thinking about focusing on strength so ill always have Thunderstrike ready.
Thanks in advance.

1 ReplyEdited by Blyndwolf: 12/8/2015 6:56:57 PMThat depends on what subclass, exotic, and perk loadouts you want to use. I tend to go for max int/dis with my Voidwalker. If I am running voidfangs I will prioritize dis>int>str with str really being ignored. Same would go for nothing manacles. If you are running obsidian mind (which is only worth the exotic slot if you get at least three kills with each nova), I would prioritize int>dis. The perk loadouts on Voidwalker will not really affect your stat distribution. For Sunsinger, it's generally dis>int>str. The one caveat would be to prioritize str>dis if you are running claws for double flame shield. If using starfire or HotPF, I would go dis>int>str. You *may* want to proritize dis>str>int if you play a really aggressive radiant skin build and are going for multiple melee kills in a single radiance. For stormcaller, there is a little more variation. I've recently been going dis>str>int and running transcendence. You want both abilities charged as often as possible to take full advantage of transcendence. Plus, like you mentioned, thunderstrike with amplitude is always nice to have charged. Try claws with str>dis>int for a nice melee build. Otherwise, I go int>dis>str with impossible machines. Hope this helps a little.

Armor and recovery

Discipline on voidwalker, strength and discipline on sunsinger and intellect discipline on stormcaller

Equip your voidwalker subclass, learn to use the blink, and get tlaloc. Forget about intellect, etc, if you get the kills, you will get the bars filled quickly even if that stat is low

Edited by Nanye: 12/8/2015 5:09:32 PMWhen I went absolute HAM with my Warlock for a while (in year one), I used: Voidwalker: Agility and Recovery are the same Armour is super low. RAM was used mainly for Life Steal, but the Armour was an added bonus. 100% Intellect 67% Discipline (would have loved 100% disc.) ~13% Strength (would have loved 0 strength). Vortex Nade Lance Blink Soul RIP (Life steal if no Ram) Bloom Forget the other tier, ill edit it in, Its Annihilate. MIDA Multi-Tool, a lot of mobility with High Agility, and Blink. Very useful for get aways, rushing in, and its an amazing gun. Shotgun, as MIDA has the long and mid ranges. Any shotgun would do, but I loved the Party Crasher +1 and Swordbreaker. Any heavy, because it doesnt really matter. To edit this into year two: I would sacrice a small bit of Agility for Armour, and I would use Skull of Dire Ahamkara or Apothesis Veil. Obsidian Mind in PvP is okay, I might use it. Play aggressive. Melee a lot. Swap to Moda before jumping for extra length and speed.

2 RepliesPersonally, (though I hardly play Warlocks anymore) I built Intellect and Discipline. I will always be able to use a grenade or super, but melees have more limited use. If you want to use Strength, I'd use Monte Carlo instead and/OR the Claws of Ahamkara. Their melee is amazing, but most of the time, you should not be in melee range, and if you are, you typically have your melee, in my opinion.

I run tier 4, tier 5 and tier 1 on all my Warlock builds for PvP, the intellect doesn't matter too much, as most of your super energy comes from kills. High discipline is essential, Warlock grenades are really good, and having a 25 second cool down time is amazing. I like to have a bit in strength, because Warlock melees are insanely good, you may want to run a bit more strength if you're a Storm-caller, so you can have the insane melee range with amplitude, and have your melee ability up faster for use of Transcendence.

3 RepliesIt really depends on the game mode you play the most/subclass. Tell me these.
