Chapter One: Part Two
Kent's eyes widen, "Hunter?"
"Oh goodie, you guessed it! The year old question, where has Hunter been? Well, he's been here, manning one of the biggest companies in India!" Hunter says with a sadistic smile across his face.
"But why? Why would you be kidnapped, then turn into this?"
"Because the man who took me was a better man then you!" Hunter yells in rage.
Kent clenched his fists, red lightning forming around them, "You're. Lying."
"Am I? Because I'd beg to differ! You never came looking for me until now!"
The lightning moves up his arms, practically consuming his body, "I. Was. Looking."
"NO YOU WEREN'T! BECAUSE I WOULDN'T BE WHERE I AM NOW IF YOU DID!"
"LIES!"
Kent opens his hands, the lightning spreading in multiple directions, killing every armed soldier in the room. But not Hunter. He just stands there, shocked at what he just saw.
"Ke-"
"NO! WE'RE GOING TO SETTLE THIS! RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!" Kent says, cutting Hunter off.
Kent fires lightning at Hunter, the bolt hitting him, sending him flying backwards into one of the white polished walls. Landing face first on the floor. Springing upwards from the ground, Hunter whistles, his eyes turning a bright blue as he does it. A single arrow flies forward, slicing at Kent's armor, damaging his shielding, almost taking it down after a few hits in different areas. Kent grabs the arrow mid air, covers it in red lighting, then runs at him, shoving the arrow into Hunter's ribcage. Twisting it, shoving it deeper into his flesh. Hunter let's out a scream as he whistles one more time, letting the arrow go through his body and back around to hit Kent's back. That one blow takes his shielding down to 0%, making his armor visible for more fatal blows. But Kent picks up Hunter, then smashes him down into the ground, multiple times, over and over again.
As Kent proceeds to smash Hunter on the ground, Hunter let's out one more faint whistle. The arrow swoops upward, then back down, slicing at Kent's armor, leaving gashes a few centimeters thick on his armor. Kent ignores it, and just grabs Hunter's leg, twisting it to the point of where it breaks. Hunter screams in pain and agony as he squeezes his leg. Kent drops him, letting him scream bloody murder on the floor. He pulls out his swords, now covered in lightning, and drives them deep into Hunter's legs, crippling him to where he cannot walk. He sheathes his swords, then kneels down next to Hunter.
"So, I'm going to flip a coin, and whatever it lands on, it will determine your fate."
"How do you rely on a coin to do your dirty work?" Hunter says, trying to hold back the pain.
"Shh, don't worry. That doesn't matter. All you need to know is that heads means you live, and tails means you die."
He tosses the coin in the air, but before it drops, Hunter grabs Kent's head, taking all power and energy from his body. Kent activates his lightning, and with that, it reverses Hunter's powers, giving Kent all of his energy and power. Practically absorbing Hunter's life force, taking his memories, thoughts, etc. They stare at each other, eye to eye as this happens, Hunter's eyes widen.
"H-how..." Hunter says, almost out of breath.
The lightning surrounding both of them turns green, then yellow, then back to red. Hunter's body starts to thin, his skin turning gray and shriveled. The hairs on his head start disappearing. The coin Kent had flipped landed right between them, it was tails. Hunter looks down at it, then back to Kent.
"-blam!-...you."
After those words, Hunter's body turns to dust, leaving nothing but a pile of ash mixed with different parts of armor. White, shiny armor. As the lightning calms, Kent relaxes, laying on his back. He exhales, and in that breath, he faintly whistles, and Hunter's blue arrow, is now red, and it now floats above Kent. He grins, grabbing it he puts it in his quiver, then stands. His shielding comes back online, and the room becomes swarmed with soldiers, hundreds of them. Kent raises his hands, then grins under his helmet. Then vanishes.
Good. Besides the thing we discussed earlier today about the explanation behind Hunter's powers being reversed, the only thing that distracts me is your use of "one more time" twice around the part where Kent is smashing Hunter into the ground. Description was on point, me being able to read essentially every movement of both fighters (plus the focus on the arrow and Kent's lightning).
