Petition to bind ammo synth/consumables to the D-pad
We've all been there. You're in the middle of fighting that SABER-2 void burn, and suddenly your truth runs dry. You can't open the inventory, you'll be killed. You just have to hope and pray a heavy crate drops from one of the random-ass exploding shanks.
Sign of you're tired of it and want an easier way. Holding a D-pad direction for a second should activate our selected ammo synth. You'll still be able to dance and emote by simply tapping the direction.
Let's get ol' Deej to tell the devs about this. Maybe community wish list?
Edit: dinnydevil said we should be able to bind all items, and I agree. So I changed the title to ammo synths/consumables instead of just ammo synths.
Edit 2: MicroDragonBorn's idea (hold X for several seconds on the weapon and it activates the respective synth) is also great.
Edit 3: Wow, top of trending. Actually my first trending post. YOU READING THIS, BUNGIE? 100% of the community wants you to add this function to the game!
Edit 4: A lot of people have been suggesting using the ghost screen to activate synths. I think TheSilverSmoker's idea (open the ghost screen, select between the 3 types of synth with the D-pad and activate with A) is probably the most practical. YOU HEAR THAT, BUNGIE?! ONE MORE GREAT SUGGESTION FOR HOW TO ADD THIS FEATURE!
Edit 5: I encourage you all to follow SirFancyBread's excellent example. Deej will have to take notice eventually. Bump this thing to hell and back.

Sometimes it takes like 5 second just foot my inventory screen to populate. I blame old Gen for holding us back.

3 RepliesEdited by Raza582: 12/7/2015 8:27:16 PMThis is what hurts me about Bungie and their treatment of the community, we are literally telling them how to do their job, why are all these brilliant little ideas that have been continuously posted throughout the year not made it into the game, better yet why was the game released without them in, this is another easy idea, an idea that I am amazed Bungie could not implement for themselves. Ask yourself this, how many features and/or fixes have Bungie implemented into this game that has been really good that the community, did NOT ask for? I assure you that list is way to small for a games developer. Brilliant idea from the community ... again, signed and liked, do this Bungie, since we have to give you all the ideas and tell you how to do your own job...

It does not need to be that involved! Just hit reload and if you are out of ammo but have a synth for the equipped weapon type, then it will consume the synth unless you are on ammo cooldown...

They need to let you assign emotes to them. I need to be able to point at a guy and then do the throat slash. Right now, I'm just walking around and throat slashing in peoples' general directions. I'm not entirely sure that they're understanding that they need to be watching their backs.

4 RepliesDo you really find you need synth that much, I only use it for special on the first round of warpriest, that's pretty much it for the entire game.

1. Pick weapon you want to use synth on 2. Hold reload button for 3 seconds 3. Profit Only problem I can see with this is that the reload button is the same button you use to revive/use things

Signed!!! They should make like a fallout type when you press the RB you can bind items from your inventory and then used them while in battle. Like for example let me bind a heavy or special and some ammo too or even a 3oc. That will be nice, but knowing Bungie they wont do it, they are way to focus on looking for new ways to rip off us of our money or screw the game more.😔😔
