Unfortunately not. Your friend can try the challenge again, but if he got credit for the kill the first time before he disconnected he will not receive the loot the second time. Disconnects prevent loot from going to the postmaster.

[quote]Well at least he isn't completely screwed then.[/quote] Yeah the first thing I do before I change characters just make sure that I am in orbit after I'm in orbit then I go to the settings tab and options which we all get to by pressing start and then I go to log out I first logged out then say no to logging out and then switch characters after that everything for that selected character that I was previously on will be found in the postmaster's storage if I did not pick it up previously to switching characters if you didn't properly switch characters via being in orbit like they said you will lose everything that you work for with your previous character.

Edited by IoN IRISHDragon: 9/1/2016 7:06:23 PMNo this was an issue where the guy was part of a fireteam going after the Warpriest Challenge, as they killed him and he was falling my friend was "Weaseled" back to the main menu. So he didn't have the opportunity to collect the loot or switch characters.
