Exclusive PS4 Iron Banner Gear!!
I'm on PS4 and to be honest even I'm not sure this is a good idea. Why piss off a huge part of your player base? Dangerous short term cash grab Bungie.
How do our XBox brothers feel about this? Seems like much more affecting than previous exclusives.

Im okay with the sparrow racing to a point, but the iron banner... thats where i draw the line. Im going to try out the race and never play iron banner again

If i had to guess, i'd say only a minority of the Xbox players are dumb enough to get mad about such a thing when both consoles have their own exclusive games and content, and it's quite common these days.

1 ReplyXb1 and had to purchase two copies of TTK (360-->xb1) do not only hv out a lot of $, but time as well. I don't agree with exclusives no matter what platform they are. XB or PS we all invest time and money into bungie so why treat one or the other like a red headed step child?

It's business, they're getting paid to do it. Bungie needs to make money and Sony is paying them money- if Microsoft wanted exclusives they should've paid bungie more, and the fact that they didn't is on them, not Bungie.

Personally, as a huge Iron Banner fan, i am beyond salty. The gear looks amazing for all the classes but the Titans seem to have gotten the best gear. And of course, what do i main? A Titan. -_-

They may have been contractually obligated to release more exclusive gear, and chose iron banner over something that would suck more for Xbox players, like trials or the new racing armor.

Love the current ps4 exclusive gear. Especially on my hunter. But xbox has to wait a year to run with these sweet pieces is wrong. We all dish out the same amount of cash

It's a bit ridiculous for an entire full year to lock out content for half of your current player base. A few months is ok, but a full year is a bit of a sell out

1 ReplyIt depends on how good it looks. Iron Banner is my favorite event too, so this really does suck. They might as well give you(the Playstation version) exclusive raid gear and trials gear while they are at it.

My guess. Bungie already had multiple sets of gear designed for the upcoming IB. They're obligated to create new content for Sony, and simply used sets of pre-made IB gear to meet that requirement this time.

I'm salty about it but hey at the end of the day every companies goal is to make money. If Microsoft didn't want to pay them for exclusive content us Xbox player's can wait. Or play other games that are exclusively on Xbox.
