To be honest, I think both supers are incredibly fun and people should just get over it and realize that's what it's for: killing the other team swiftly. But I don't understand why people aren't complaining about the Stormtrance as much as they complain about hammers. You can outrun hammers as soon as you hear it. Stormtrance? Warlocks move SO fast during that super. Hammers have to aim. Stormtrance? Just blaze around holding the trigger and kill everything without even thinking about it. I can't tell you how many times I've missed tons of hammers and only gotten 1 kill with the whole super but a Stormcaller comes around the corner and I don't stand a chance.
Anyway, that's my two cents. I main a Titan, so I'm obviously biased. But when I'm playing crucible, I'm much, MUCH more annoyed when I die by some arc lightning than by a solar hammer.
Edit: thanks for all the feedback people! I agree that the HoS has too high of armor, it sucks killing them during the super. Anyway, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what they do!
Edit 2: I think they did a fantastic job with the changes. They toned it down plenty, but it's still powerful. What do you guys think?

11 RepliesHonestly, if you sneeze on a stormcaller he'll die. No shield or regen is a big enough help, people talk about transcendence making stormcaller a cheat but fail to realize you sacrifice your play stlye of adding grenades and melees to your attacks to make it last longer. The only shield warlocks get are flame shield, no health regen in any class similar to bladedancer and sunbreaker. As easily as you can kill a self-res'd sunsinger is just as easy as killing a stormcaller. Don't be afraid and finish him. I've been on both sides of dying as i pop it and killing 8+ easy. What makes a class or super truly OP is when you run up against someone who can utilize all those skills "effectively". Not just shooting all GG shots, swinging swords, spamming hammers, panic smashing or holding R2 as stormcaller from one end of the map to another the entire duration.
