~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Anvils Guard came out of Warp near the planet, as the small fighter class ship, Ciri's custom Milano, flew from the massive cruiser and to the surface
Landing on one of the many landing pads of the main base, Ciri stepped from the ship, in search of Sigmar
After looking around for a while, Sigmar walks out of a small conference building, and sees her. 'Hey, what are you doing here? I thought you were still deployed?'
-
"Change of plans Imperium is going after the Hourglass, and I plan to make a few changes to the Anvil"
-
'Alright, I'll have the Sons Techmarines get to work when you have it brought into drydock. Any idea why the Imperium had a change of heart?'
-
"Summoner attacked the Palace during a meeting, instead of studying the Hourglass, they seek to destroy it" She motions to follow "As for payment on the expenses on the Anvil, I've found a new type of ship, one that can be easily and effectively produced, and is great for fighting purposes"
-
'We'll issue it out to the Serfs, they need all the advantage they can get, considering they won't join the Ascension program.'
-
She nods, leading him to the docking bay where her ship resides One there, a few of the engineers are seen marveling at the glory of the old fashioned star fighter, as its bright orange and blue paint job make it stand out The Milano seems to hum with life, as she leads Sigmar to jt
-
He follows. 'Where'd you get the paint? Did'ya beg and plead with Baldr for it?'
-
"Was already on the ship, but he fixed it up for me" She opens the cargo door, small, but able to fit decent sized objects, as she steps inside it
-
'Well, he's always been easy on you. Suppose that hasn't changed.' Sig follows her inside. 'Where the hell'd you find this?'
-
"Abandoned star ship" The door closes behind him, as she leads him into the cockpit, up a small deck of stairs
-
'Another Hulk? Great, because the last one we messed with was an amazing experience.'
-
"It was smaller, not as deadly IOA class frigate" She sits in the pilots seat, turning the engines on as the ship roars to life, literally
-
'So, it was just sitting around? Hell, you should've claimed it for salvage, you'd have made good money.'
-
"Didn't feel like it, the thing had a good vibe to it" The ship lifts off the ground, turning around as it flares to full speed, towards the Anvil
-
'I was talking about the Hulk. I'd figured you'd have kept this for yourself either way.'
-
"It was in tatters, damaged to much to even be salvaged Blown into bits by some explosion"
-
'Shame. Somebody'd have found a use for the scrap.' Sig sits on a crate. 'So, what exactly are you hoping to accomplish with refitting the Anvils Guard?'
-
"Turning it into a Carrier, fit it with broadsides of macrocannons, torpedoes, a Void shield, and lances"
-
'You realize how long that'll take right? You'll be laid up on shore leave for weeks.'
-
"It'll take the I perium a month or two at least to get to the Hourglass, we've got time"
-
'Hopefully. Things do change though.'
-
She nods, as she sends a message for the frigate to dock, and turns the Milano around, heading back towards Jotun
-
'So, I'm guessing you heard about the funeral right? Gorm told me that it seemed to bother you a bit when they disappeared on you.'
-
"Aye, I did"
