Disable K/D updates, Bounties, Quests and anything that is affected by the Crucible. If Custom a Matchmaking where to be a think Bungie would simply have Shaxx say "Want to have a friend match on your terms? Fine, but don't expect any gifts of valour." Essentially implying that there would be no rewards or completion towards stuff because you could rig the matches in your favour. Want a Rumble with all your friends? Well you can't have them all stand in a line to complete that Chaperone Quest. That out of the way how could Custom Matchmaking work? Well we could simply host a private game. That would enable E-Sports to take Destiny into a whole new level with Control and think Rift into amazing territory. Want to play Control with 3v3 no Radar? Done. Salvage with 6v6 abilities only? Done. Elimination 2v2 no Special? Done The fact is we could swap so many attributes of the Crucible around that Bungie wouldn't have to devote a week to some new twist on a game mode.
