The one thing you guys have to understand about them leaving legendary weapons and armor behind is that we would literally not have the space for them anyway. I struggle as it is currently and i've deleted a lot of my year 1 stuff. I continually fill my poster master and have to take the time to clear it out. Leaving exotics behind though i think was a huge problem and its great that bungie is releasing them over time, but bungie is treating em like new content, which annoys the hell out of me, but it doesnt surprise me.

they think it's easier to bring people back to the game. Truth is that will kill the game more. If someone leaves for a while. The clan, and friends migrate loyalty to others. When another dlc comes out, and those that left buy it. They will return to play alone a lot more. So the following dlc doesn't look worth it.

8 RepliesBump. Bring back etheric light. That's the ONE thing they got right in house of wolves. This new "double RNG" thing makes it that much worse as well. Scrap it, bring back a way to ascend old guns or at least let us RE grind for those guns at endgame light levels.(level 40 VoG/CE etc) Even desticles would love this! Who wants LESS choice? Is there a cap on how many guns can be in the game? No, cause most of us probably still have all our old raid guns sitting in the vault. They didn't vanish overnight to "make more room". Now with the upcoming mega nerf? This is, to me, an addiction at this point. It's something that brings less joy. This is a game with potential unlike any game ever made. If Bungie could just clean house or bring in an entire new development team then i think we would see arguably the best game ever. That's subjective but any game a casual like me can put over 700 hours in to? Man, they got a formula that works but they can't help but be their own worst enemy. Why is this so frustrating to me? It's like seeing someone with an IQ of 165 sweeping floors at walmart. Wake up Bungie! In the end, it's just a game so it's not THAT big a deal. But a lot of people are passionate about this game in particular. That's why we criticize the bad decisions and praise the good ones.

I don't play video games as often as I used to, but even I can name game designers better than Bungie. MGS4 had in-game LFG that worked fine... Halo/GTA have free DLC... Crisis had a badass story AND good PvP. Bungie saw all those industry-standards being set by great developers, and said "Nah, f**k that" "Let's have $80 of required DLC the first year, leave matchmaking to Reddit, and have no story" It's like Bungie wanted to create a bad game.

6 RepliesBungie has a bad habit taking away players progress every other month , although they claimed to respect players achievements after the huge TDB backlash which "generously" let you reset all your progress for paying tons of glimmer , they keep doing it and TTK was the biggest one by turning all old weapons completely useless with every DLC stuff that took hours upon hours to obtain through the RNG system and upgrade is being reset or simply made obsolete, same applies to new currencies that are being added just to negate all your collected currencies. , not even speaking about the overkill nerfs that turn peoples favorite weapons to vault fillers i mean they could just add new items worth striving for at the same DMG level to make people collect new stuff without losing anything , but for some reason Bungie thinks they are entitled to take away peoples stuff and indirectly making lots of hours playing pointless

Goes even beyond that (even though the quote above alone is game.set.match.) -- They implore you to buy DLC and then make practically the entire previous DLC(s) irrelevant once the next DLC comes out.

Hopefully the infusion system will let us upgrade our gear when year 3 comes around. Kinda bull$#it to make us get year 3 versions of the same weapons. lol.
