"Well shit, if that's how it's going, I'd rather train a few of the Lights to fly, make some copies of the Milano-"
She smacks the side of the ship with her fist
"-and do it that way"

'We'd have to head back to Jotun for that. The Airbornes are the only ones qualified to use Valkyrie armor. On top of that, we don't have production capability aboard, we're not aboard a fleet support ship.' He closes the panel, and looks around. 'I don't expect the Airborne to try anything, but you know how they've been since they found out Skall wasn't actually one of us.'
-
"Yeah, I've kinda lost my trust in them as of late"
-
'The Sons are trying to redeem themselves, but their past hangs over them like a storm cloud. Its not just something that'll go away, unfortunately.' He leans against the hull. 'You do owe them your life though, they did help you get out of that Hulk after all.'
-
"Yeah, that's true, they did" She sighs, hitting a panel on the hull, as the hatch opens again
-
'Hey, you do know their funeral is happening soon right? Gorm found them, I don't know if he told you yet, it ah, it wasn't pretty.'
-
She goes silent, standing there, and then enters the ship
-
Baldr stands, sighs, and walks back towards the Bridge. He sends a maintenance crew down shortly after, and they set to work cleaning up and fixing the new ship.
-
She remains inside of it, thinking to herself quietly as the crew cleans up and repairs the ship She, in return, cleans up the inside, finding am old cassette music player, as well as a sent of elemental pistols, able to fire blasts of electricity, to even fireballs
-
The maintenance crew goes about their business, and a few Light Troopers take bets as to how long it'll take the junker to fall apart. Baldr comes back down after a while, and brings two meals from the mess hall. He stops by the door, and kicks it loud enough to hear it inside.
-
She hits a button on the control panel, and it opens
-
'You in here? I know you haven't eaten actual food in a while, and you know how Gorm gets when you don't eat proper meals when you have the chance.' He walks in, and looks for somewhere to sit the trays down.
-
She comes down from the upper level, moving some stuff off to the side as she sets one of the guns down "Found these when I was clearing out the ship"
-
'What exactly are they? They look like some kind of energy weapon.' He moves a crate over with his feet, sets her tray down on top of it, and finds himself a seat.
-
She picks it up, turning the weapon on as she hands it to him "Don't know, just know its some kind of gun"
-
'Don't hand it to me, finders keepers. If it's gonna blowup on someone, its gotta be you.' He grabs a fork, and starts eating. 'Any idea why it was aboard?'
-
"Don't know, could've belonged to the ships last owner" She sets it down, the low resonating hum it gives off is barely audible, as she eats as well
-
'Reckon so? It doesn't seem to match the ships age, to me at least. It could be older than the ship itself, or the other way 'round.'
-
heh The references going on right now
"Might be the guns are older than the ship"
-
'Its always possible, I've had that kind of thing happen to me before.' He stops and chews in thought for a moment, and speaks again. 'Could always be that the weapon was made by a different species than who made the ship.'
-
"Could be, since they don't resemble human tech, the ship doesn't either, atleast in mechanics"
-
'Could be they are human tech, but they're just highly customized to the point they appear different from the originating tech.'
-
She shrugs "Could be"
-
'We'll never know, too much history between us, and those weapons.' He finishes his food, and starts fiddling with a console. 'You could always try bringing up info from the ships computer, if there's anything there.'
-
ready? Time for more references •3•
She finishes as well, as the computer winks to life, viewing information on some group known as the Guardians of the Galaxy
-
You and your references!
Baldr looks over, and ponders it for a moment. 'You reckon they were good guys? Seems like the kind of group that would have a movie made about them.'
