'Alright, let me get up and I'll be down there shortly.'
Baldr sits up, motions one of the bridge crew over, and heads down to the hangar to see what the commotion was about.
After he walks in, he thinks he has it figured it out.
'So, you're in trouble again, aren't you?'
'Oh, and I'm not fat, its the armor.'

She wasn't even there, until a loud roar is heard, sounding like an old fashioned 21st century Corvette, rattling the interior hull of the cruiser as a blue and orange ship is seen entering
-
'Damn, she's usually hiding behind something when she does that.' He waits for the ship to settle down, and walks over to what appears to be the landing ramp.
-
She steps out from a small hatch on the side "So, whatya think?"
-
'Not exactly my style, but i am Terminator Captain for a reason. Where'd you find this old junker, a scrap pit?' He flicks some peeling hull paint, and watches as small flakes trickle down.
-
"Abandoned star cruiser, things called the Milano" She watches him do it, smacking his hand away "Needs a bit of fixing up, and a new plaint job, but it'll rum better than ever Took a bit to start it up when I found it, but it purrs like a kitten"
-
He pulls his hand back, and pushes her lightly. 'Hey, i was just checking it, sheesh.' He walks over to the ramp, and fiddles with the hydraulic system. 'We can refit the whole thing here, it'll take us about a day, at most. I imagine you'll want to exchange marines, given you've probably run your current squad ragged.'
-
"Damn right, also what I was going to ask of, wanted to get some Terminators and maybe a few squads of Space Marines"
-
'You'll only be able to fit a squad in there comfortably, given the size, so you'll have ten or so people including yourself. How many Terminators do you think you'll need? You want some Airborne lads too, or are you just gonna stick with boots on the ground?' Baldr finishes fiddling with the hydraulic system, and pops open a small panel on the outside of the ship.
-
"I'll have transport sent over here, just wanted to come over, show off this old beauty, and ask about it" She watches him
-
'I don't really know much about these, Gorm or one of the Techmarines probably know more than i do. I'm fiddling around because I don't have any idea where it came from.' He fishes around in the panel, and touches two cables together, activating a few exterior lights near the ramp. 'You do know to keep an eye on the Airborne troopers when they go on leave right? They've been hanging out with the Sons a lot recently.'
-
"Well shit, if that's how it's going, I'd rather train a few of the Lights to fly, make some copies of the Milano-" She smacks the side of the ship with her fist "-and do it that way"
-
'We'd have to head back to Jotun for that. The Airbornes are the only ones qualified to use Valkyrie armor. On top of that, we don't have production capability aboard, we're not aboard a fleet support ship.' He closes the panel, and looks around. 'I don't expect the Airborne to try anything, but you know how they've been since they found out Skall wasn't actually one of us.'
-
"Yeah, I've kinda lost my trust in them as of late"
-
'The Sons are trying to redeem themselves, but their past hangs over them like a storm cloud. Its not just something that'll go away, unfortunately.' He leans against the hull. 'You do owe them your life though, they did help you get out of that Hulk after all.'
-
"Yeah, that's true, they did" She sighs, hitting a panel on the hull, as the hatch opens again
-
'Hey, you do know their funeral is happening soon right? Gorm found them, I don't know if he told you yet, it ah, it wasn't pretty.'
-
She goes silent, standing there, and then enters the ship
-
Baldr stands, sighs, and walks back towards the Bridge. He sends a maintenance crew down shortly after, and they set to work cleaning up and fixing the new ship.
-
She remains inside of it, thinking to herself quietly as the crew cleans up and repairs the ship She, in return, cleans up the inside, finding am old cassette music player, as well as a sent of elemental pistols, able to fire blasts of electricity, to even fireballs
-
The maintenance crew goes about their business, and a few Light Troopers take bets as to how long it'll take the junker to fall apart. Baldr comes back down after a while, and brings two meals from the mess hall. He stops by the door, and kicks it loud enough to hear it inside.
-
She hits a button on the control panel, and it opens
-
'You in here? I know you haven't eaten actual food in a while, and you know how Gorm gets when you don't eat proper meals when you have the chance.' He walks in, and looks for somewhere to sit the trays down.
-
She comes down from the upper level, moving some stuff off to the side as she sets one of the guns down "Found these when I was clearing out the ship"
-
'What exactly are they? They look like some kind of energy weapon.' He moves a crate over with his feet, sets her tray down on top of it, and finds himself a seat.
-
She picks it up, turning the weapon on as she hands it to him "Don't know, just know its some kind of gun"
