Force Barrier is actually a viable strategy now in Crucible, and even easier to gain in pve. How does a 25 second, regenerating overshield sound to you?

This ^ With max strength, it is possible to maintain the force barrier indefinitely. It was made even more powerful in TTK by allowing Disintegrate to proc on shotgun kills in addition to a melee kill.
