When they lag down the hallway invincible taking dozens of shots and then slaughter your team with a shotgun from spitting distance do they think it's skill? When they appear out of thin air and have already killed everyone with their super do they feel like it worked because they are good?

7 Repliesyou are assuming they redbar on purpose

8 RepliesEdited by Green_panda369: 12/3/2015 9:23:10 AMAs a regular red barer. I would like to say I am average at the game and accept that. People need to calm down if the lobby is laggy then leave. Everybody has a right to play online. I have good Internet that I have wired into my PS4 and have no issues on most games but Destiny is different. I don't cheat or do it on purpose, I would prefer if everybody was green and win or lose it doesn't matter to me because it's all about relaxing and having fun. We live in a time of whining bitches. Stop complaining about everything and anything. If you are really that unhappy leave. I have gotten rude messages and probably been reported and I don't care because it's not my fault. My Internet is fine it's just that I get paired up with people not in my region or continent. With all the money Bungie make there should be dedicated servers. We should be matched by city, country and then continent. In a perfect world we would all have green bars, all have a 17 kd and be having a great time but guess what the world isn't perfect. Remember it's only a game and there are many other options it's not worth getting angry or unhappy with just move onto another game. Edit: I would like to add I stay away from ToO because of this I only sparring play crucible
will get hate from this but hey I am only speaking my mind
5 RepliesIt's people like you that blame everything but their lack of skill on their poor performance. If you have ever red barred you would know that nothing you do registers, at all, regardless of what you do.
-
No they just suck
-
1 ReplyI usally play in MacDonald's for the free wifi
-
1 ReplyI was once a red bar player. I see no difference in my performance.
-
Pings =/= lag
-
Green bar. Yeah right Bungie. Your netcode is utter garbage and I would really want to see those pings. Wonder what it takes to go red bar...lol.
-
1 ReplyYou do realize when you are truly red barring its near impossible to get a kill? Any time u try to melee? Nope doesn't register, I can melee someone 5 times and not have a single register while lagging. I go up to people and shoot them with shotguns or maybe my pulse rifle/sniper and run behind a wall, 6 seconds later after I'm already well away and behind that wall that persons bullets hit me and I don't even get a hitmarker for mine. And don't even get me started on supers... Have you ever tried to hammer of sol or blade dance or any super on anyone with lag? With blade dance it registers as a meele attack so none of them ever hit my opponent while lagging, I can literally go up to them and waste my whole super swinging without having 1 hit. With hammer of sol my hammer will show its hitting them sure, but 5 seconds later for some odd reason it only does about 80-100 dmg after I hit them with the hammer and I can't kill shit. Don't make assumptions if you've never truly red barred.

2 RepliesIt's not my fault I have two siblings who like to watch Netflix
-
3 Replieshttps://youtu.be/Ewhry-YZ1D4 he won the game btw.
-
I only get red bars in raids and when I do, the whole team typically has it
-
I usually have a good connection, but the games I've had with a red bar connection I've been unable to do damage for the most part. My best games have actually come when I've been the host of the lobby. It's a noticeable difference in a game that uses peer to peer connections.
-
3 RepliesI've literally never heard of people complain more about lag until this game
-
-
You mean 80% of the people that play trials?
-
Probably. To them everything is ok. Its everyone else thats being stupid and standing still.
-
Can't kill anything when I'm red bar
-
Yep, I matched against a redbar who ended up with a 3.0 KD. It was infuriating cus he teleported around the map and insta killed you. His connection was so fecking poor that it didn't even show which weapon killed you.
-
I used to have bad connection its not fun, you just get killed not even seeing anyone, when i was red bar, and everyone else green, it would seem like i was green playing in a game with 11 red bars, people popping up everywhere, dieing, then once your down you see him run round the corner and shoot you

1 ReplyI was at twilight gap. Grabbed heavy by C flag. Unloaded full clip of heavy machine gun and my teammate hit him with 2 rockets. He shotgun me then warped to A flag. He said he could move like that because he was using blink
-
Have you ever had red bar? Damage doesn't register, no matter what you do.
-
1 ReplyUhhhh red barring sucks ass in crucible. It is NOT an advantage. Red barring on purpose and messing with connections is much difference. I red bar so much, crucible blows
-
4 RepliesYou think the game is running fine for them? If they are the ones red barring then how do you think the game plays for them? The red bar you see only indicates your connection to that player, it doesn't even take into account the fact that neither of you may be host and the actually connection quality may be better or worse. So maybe its you who has the red bar? You probably do for them. In short, don't trust the red bars. They are not a reliable method of measuring connections.
-
When I play with a red bar I get a 0.2KD so yes I'm totally skilled. When I play with a green bar I get a 1.2 KD. Not very skilled there. I play destiny in two different locations due to personal reasons so I've experienced both sides and let me tell you, red barring does not always help you. You're more likely to get shot through a wall from someone you can't even see than to simply walk up to someone and shotgun them.
-
The worst I've played on was a yellow bar. It happened once and it must have been the outcome of a very low local population, to the point that they matched me with people who all were far away. But OMG, the game actually felt like you'd expect it to always feel. It's like you dictate the standard for everyone in the match if you have the worst connection (or more like worst ping to the rest). For once I was able to tell when someone would go down, similar to how it was in green bar matches in halo. The difference between the two games is that you didnt benefit from red baring in Halo.
