I am new to destiny I am trying to link and play with my mom for some mother daughter gaming time. I see on the refer a friend tab where my mom's gamertag is, under her name it says: You have yet to purchase and play Destiny: The Taken King. Once you have completed the necessary steps, you will be Linked Friends. I am playing on my dads Xbox One with his copy of taken king(it is a disc and not digital). Also it shows Your Refer-a-Friend quest progress: (This is Empty) Xbox Quests Visit the Speaker in the Tower to start the Questline "A Tale of Two Guardians". My mom and I tried joining a fireteam and completing a mission and going back to the tower but the speaker did not have anything for us. We went to go tlk to him and he had some stuff but nothing i could buy yet. Am I doing anything wrong? Plz help!
