Hey,
The ship is part of a secret mission, that also means it is technically something bungie cannot comment on. Anyways the ship is a non-guaranteed loot upon completion of this secret side-mission. It is unknown what the drop rates are, but I do know it isn't an easy drop.

Thats the problem. Everyone is speculating here. No one has gotten the ship to drop UNLESS it drops with spindle. That is not RNG or a low drop rate, that seems bugged. The ship is locked out for us. We have no way to get it. If it was designed this way, I would like to know, because I have no desire to contine playing a game that 100% locks you out of content, even if its just a cosmetic item.

Not true. Got my ship while helping friend get his spindel. I already had mine and ship dropped for me but not him. All rng.

I want to, but hard to believe you. Please clarify. You ran it once, got spindle. Ran it again next time was the daily on SAME character, and got the ship but no spindle? This is what you are claiming, correct?

I went on hunter again to help and ship dropped. We didnt even know there was a ship till it dropped. Ran it twice in same daily.

Are you guys 100% sure on this? Everytime someone has claimed this, it turned out to be an alt or was misremembered.

Yes THIS WORKS, stop asking if it does.. a few of my close friends obtained the Ship WITHOUT dropping the Spindle (Because they previously Obtained it 3x times). Example : Week 1 Spindle : Ran it, Completed side mission under 10 minutes, Obtained Spindle Week 2 : Ran it, Completed side mission under 10 minutes, Obtained Vienna Singer

Video? Ha. Got it the first time it was available. I can check to see if i did record it. Only thing i can think of is maybe when they patched the the spindel from 310 to 280 maybe ship became glitched. But for real the first time spindel was available i got spindel with no ship. Then ran again on same character same day and got the ship. From then and until now maybe something is glitched. Sorry i dont know.

Yep..didnt have an alt high enough light. Didnt realize i could use hunters gear to level alts light gear. So all i had was hunter to go on.
