Its a RNGesus thing my fellow guardian. Ran it with the wife and got it by chance while she did not. Black Spindle is a guranteed drop from the mission as the ship is not

Did you read the reddit thread? Do you know anything about this issue that many of us are having?

Yes, i've heard of these issues alot actually however i do agree that it's quite a big bug which seemed to get worse with time :/ i remember one week the daily was bugged not giving legendary marks for completion of the mission itself. I do hope they fix it at some point
