the glimmer change is upsetting me
edit: to clarify for the mouth breathers, i do not have a glimmer ghost, i was fine at getting glimmer prior to the weapon parts patch. i have and use consumables and alchemists raiment. ive gotten anywhere from 150-300 glimmer PER STRIKE.
so please, if your making glimmer thats great for you, or you play a lot. mine has been CONSISTANTLY low.
I understand that you, bungie, reserve the right to tinker with the economy.
But this feels really sucky. i got 166 glimmer for a strike

when i first started playing TTK it wasnt difficult to get to max glimmer, now i struggle to et anywhere /sigh
starting to feel like your pretty spiteful towards your (admittedly toxic) community and just want to annoy them now while remaining under the veil of game balance.

1 ReplyDo Omnigul normal with Ether seeds and Black wax idol. You can get 2-3000 glimmer every time.

Um patrol is 200 per beacon I believe

Exclusion Zone on hard. Pop a consumable, kill the two waves of cabal, save two to kill you, then repeat.

Do patrol missions. You make 250 minimum, and more depending on the kind of mission it is.

I got back to over 10k in just a few hours after paying 16k for the damn Chaperone quest step.

Do patrol cosmodrome + ether seeds They give 250-500 Glimmer each patrol mission, and you'll get a little extra on the side.

Court is great for blues and purples so you dont have to buy weapon parts and get glimmer from dismantle.

Do patrols. normal ones give 250 VIP gives half a thousand. Quick and good.

2 RepliesGo to mars... Go Through the tunnel to the left of spawn, and pop a resupply codes, go up and down building 5 killing all the enemies until it stops gaining glimmer... Then go to the moon with black wax idol on "we've woken the hive" once it stops go back to Mars... Thats how i do it

They ninja nerfed it so you can only gain a certain amount of glimmer in a set amount of time

Patrol missions give a bunch of glimmer. I've noticed 250-300 for normal missions and 500 for the v.i.p. target missions.

It's just you really. I hit the max twice per week. The situation has gotten to the point where I have nothing not much left to spend Glimmer on. Today I bought weapon parts to reduce the Glimmer down to 15,000.

Exclusion Zone and before anyone says it, NO, its not nerfed. majors were nerfed. they used to drop 120 glimmer per kill with consumable, now its about 30. but you can still go to exclusion zone (lvl240) and spam the first part. its 4x slower but still gets the job done if you need a few thousand real fast. each run yields me about 300 glimmer. so thats about 300 every minute to minute and a half.

3 RepliesThey also nerfed glimmer farming, you can only earn a certain amount from the consumables before it stops working for a while, and majors don't drop glimmer w/o a consumable like they used to. I didn't see any mention of it in the patch notes either so it looks like they were hoping we wouldn't notice. :(
