If the reputation system is going to continue to be the slog that it is without the 1000 rep/week between the nightfall and heroic and if rerolling is still not an option for what we have then please extend Armsday to include vendor weapons so we can have a little more agency over the rng/grind hell that is the current rep system. Because spending a month ranking up crucible just to get boots is infuriating when I wanted literally any weapon at all. Here's what I'm thinking: make an armsday system for each weapon vendor in the tower: Vanguard and Crucible quartermasters require rank 3 in their respective areas, the factions also have an armsday system but you would have to be allied with that faction to order/pick up weapons from them like normal. You continue to only have three armsday packages per week but you can select between the gunsmith or the other vendors. For example I can pick up a suros pdx package from the gunsmith, a hawksaw package from the crucible quartermaster, and a vanity from FWC. The non gunsmith vendors could charge legendary marks instead of glimmer for their armsday packages. 50 marks/package seems fair since there's rng involved.
