#1 way to stop a shotgun = throwing knife.
But yeah. The weapons team screwed up when they allowed the conspiracy theory to have so much range... Most other shotguns fall into line where they are supposed to be, it's just that one or two with the perfect roll that spoil it for everything else.

I personally don't have a problem with conspiracy theory because it's rate of fire is nonexistent and so if you miss a shot you're dead, what I have a problem with is invective, it's rate of fire and range put together is OP

Throwing knives are a great counter to shotguns. Shoot them a couple of times, throw a burning knife and walk away.

True... But it can also kill you from a substantially further distance than any other shotgun. IMO, no one would be complaining about this if shotguns never had a range boosting perk, and pulses never had a stability boosting perk. It screwed up that "tradeoff" they talked about so much.
