Yeah I double checked this yesterday and disabled my thunderlord yr 1 and got 2 shards , eight weapon parts and something else maybe a note of light. So fact - you do get 2 exotic shards if it is maxed out - yr 1

No, dismantling a fully-upgraded Exotic [u]might[/u] produce two Exotic Shards.

Yr1 has given me two shards every time this past week and I have deleted 9 or 10 of them so that's pretty good odds- 100%
