Ryker smiles.
"It's ok."
His face looks troubled as he received the transmission.
"What's this?"

Celeste watched Ryker curiously and sat at the bar of the kitchen. The message contained a second, deeply encoded message. Something familiar and yet alien. It had been sent back by Mecanicum Imperium soldiers. They had found something.
-
"Hm.... That's... Interesting. I'll look at that later." He smirks and swipes to the side of the screen, sending the message to his forge terminal. Turning to her he smiled. She was very pretty, no girl such as her deserves what happened. "So... Do you like bacon and ice cream for breakfast?"
BAKFEST
Edited by blackwolf619: 11/29/2015 5:41:57 AMHer head tilts as she looks at him thoughtfully. "Umm I don't think I've ever had the two together before."
ik it posted without me!! BACON
-
"Well get ready..." He smirks. "It's gonna be amazing." Through the next seven or so minutes he cooked bacon, nice and crispy but also chewy. He also got nice vanilla ice cream from the freezer and gave her a plate with a nice serving of ice cream and bacon. "There! Hope you like it! I worked hard." He winked.
-
Celeste gave a little smile before taking a bit. She grimaced as she experienced the cold of the ice cream, but soon closed her eyes to savor the combination. "Mmm oh yes, we like this." She smiled, happy and content. "So what was that message about?"
-
Ryker smiles. "I'm glad you liked it. That message... Well I don't even know to be honest with you." He takes a seat across from her, staring into her heart.
-
She takes another bite and savors the food. Mathius and Tiberius walk over and join the two. Curious as ever Mathius leans over Celeste's bowl only to get smacked. "OW!" "Serves you right! Ryker made it for us and we are not sharing." Celeste said with a smile. The young man sulked back and rubbed his head much to Tiberius entertainment.

Edited by cyberattaq: 11/29/2015 7:06:22 AMRyker chuckles, she was very defensive. It was a good perk in a mother. He stared at her with a smile. "You told him." He leaned back in his chair.
-
With a mouthful she nods in agreement. "Yes I did. I know this two. Watched Mathius grow up and saw half of Tiberius coming of age. Lil sneaks, I'm really surprised Mathius hasn't gone off on an adventure yet, my mischievous one." A noise of laughter elicited from Celeste a joyful noise as she smiled brightly. The young men chuckled a bit. Tiberius turned to Ryker. "So what is it that you do here?"
-
"Oh, like my job?" Ryker looks at them him. "Well... In my forge down that hallways," he pointed to his right, "are hundreds, thousands of every type of metal known to mankind. In there I make everything from armor, to bullets, to guns, and even some medical supplies. I work on new blueprints for weapons and armor suits. And then I send them to production favorites located on mineral rich planets." He recalls the process easily.
-
Mathius is fully entertained. His expressive face entirely readable. Tiberius stands and nods as needed, though he too appreciates Rykers explanation. Meanwhile, Celeste continues to enjoy her meal and is quite entertained by the boys conversation. She never questioned the armor that protected her body. Only the heart that willed itself to fight. To this end, though the conversation was a bit lost on her, she listened with interest. Then again another message came. "War council message!" A shrill metallic voice chimed.
-
"Oh my.... What now?!" Ryker stands up and walks over, looking at the message.
-
It seemed that they were ready to crack the code from the team sent to find the Hourglass. Mathius held his breath and looked over Ryker's shoulder. Snoopy young man's curiosity was getting the best of him. Tiberius took Celeste's bowl and washed it as she licked the spoon.
-
"Ignore.... Or help... Hm... I'll help a little." Ryker begins helping, attempting to crack the coded transmission.
-
"A... A code?" Mathius steps back and thinks about it for a bit. "What could it be for?" Tiberius frowns. "Don't go getting started. Curious is fine, I can handle curious. But if you so much as try anything... Why I'll..." "Enough," Celeste waived a hand. "You two go play games or something... Eh, before you go Tiberius could you make me some tea?" The young man quickly did as he was asked before following a rather thoughtful Mathius to the living room. Celeste stirred the cup and waited for Ryker to finish.
-
He eventually crack it. "Success!" He smiles widely.
-
"Oh what's this?" Celeste leaned forward a bit.
-
"I.... Well I have no clue." Ryker laughs.
-
His laughs is contagious and she chuckles alongside him. "Hmm, when my his dam and I fought we took a decisive contingent to the front lines. We held key positions the majority of the time. There was never any rest..." Her voice drops off as she remembers. "As such we dealt with various species and new reinforcements and a daily basis. The best of other races were sent to join us on the front. I've seen many battle styles in my time. Also languages, spoken and written. We even ran across some archaic coded languages." "Do you mind if I have a look?"
-
"Be my guest." Ryker backs away and motions towards the screen.
-
Celeste studies the screen a bit as she takes another sip of tea. For a moment it's simply silence before her brow furrows. She imprints her hand into the air and a personal screen shows up. Then she points to the screen the code is on. "Run analysis. Seek code within code via dot analysis." As the screen runs through various processes she turns to Ryker. "I can make out 3 messages, but there is another code beneath those. This one seems more along those archaic lines so there isn't an alphabet. The question remaining is..." She stops as the screen finishes its analysis. Her eyebrow rises in a blur of annoyance and a touch of displeasure. "So how much does your Imperium value traitors?"
-
"As far as I know, if your a traitor and you get caught your killed..." Ryker shrugs.
-
"I can't say it's an exact interpretation. But I do have a language that bears a resemblance. In that language this would read as an SOS, that someone here in the Imperium is using this team or there is a traitor among the team." Celeste's eyes turn a cautious shade. "I'm not sure what will be found if they do indeed send teams after this one."
-
"So someone in this team is a traitor?" He thinks. "Why would they send an SS? To lure someone?"
-
"Either in the team or someone here in the Imperium that sent the team. That's what I get out of it anyway." She swirls her tea and takes another sip. "It's odd, to say the least. I don't anything about the situation or the circumstances currently regarding anything on this planet. But it seems like this place is not as peaceful as it looks."
