When I started playing last year I used a void walker warlock for the most until House of Wolves came out. What I liked about warlocks is that they are tough to die and are also agile specially their jump. So to me it sits in the middle between Titan and hunter. I was very comfortable learning the game and feel safe enough to solo most of the game on my warlock. When house of wolves came out I started a hunter and a Titan, mostly because bungee change the mechanics on missions when they introduced the prison of elders. Depending on the mission a Titan defender was more useful or a hunter with invisibility was needed. Now before taken king arrives you had to play your three guardians weekly in the nightfall and the raids. Also for the daily missions you have to play them all just to maximize materials, rep and gear/weapons. In take king I play mostly my Titan because in any situation gives me best just because of endurance. I like to play solo mostly. And bungie changed the mechanics of loot and rewards so with one guardian you can get everything. Sadly to admit my warlock and hunter are very neglected since TTK came out. So I would say start with a warlock. Not Titan not hunter because you will grow too comfortable with them to the point that you might not want to play the other two at all. You will see their flaws and weaknesses compared to the class you are playing. The warlock may give you that middle balanced point of view and experience.

Warlock is best

Depends on your playstyle. If you like in your face play, go with Titan. If you like being a sharpshooter, go with hunter. If you like tactical smart play, go with warlock.

Warlock, voidwalcker is fun to use , sunsinger is helpfull with its self rez and storm caller is really good at clearing out ads. Its pretty balanced and fun to use

My personal favourite is warlock. Sunbreaker is a subclass for the titan

It's not that I hate the hunter. It's just Gunslinger SUCKS. I want to get bladedancer. As you see from my account I have a Titan but it is level 7. I might just start a new Titan up.

Make a Titan everyone wants one for raids and for PvP it's the best choice and SunBreaker is an amazing class

sunbreaker is the new titan subclass. they get flamming hammers that cause explosions where they hit. and also damage resistance. it's pretty fun to use in both PvE and PvP. and the nightstalker gets a lot better and more fun as you level it up, so just wait and see if you like it later. as for myself, I main a titan. I like the high armor thing. and killing things by way of punch is also very satisfying. but what it came down to, the Ward of Dawn. I love it when I'm playing, three shots away from death, and I pop WoD and go own whatever was shooting at me. but if you don't like the nightstalker, you can always switch to another character and dable with them for a bit. it all comes down to your play style and which ever class goes with it. hope you enjoy the rest of TTK and find the subclass that's right for you! and sorry this is so long... 😅
