A Few Cuts Above the Rest:
Golden City; Terra
The man's body shattered under the impact, laying to rest several meters from where he had become embroiled in the melee that was consuming his friends. The low whirr of vibro-knuckles accentuated the grinding gears of the mechs attempting to ensnare their prey; an experiment in folly, apparently. The dimly lit warehouse provided Ginger the perfect opportunity to exert his strength at close range, and the perfect cover to engage the forces beginning to line the warehouse walls. The twin rotating focus beams on his back targeted foes with such dexterity and aggression that it would appear that they managed the trajectories and vectors singlehandedly, yet under controlled, precise bursts they were quickly expending through the tibana gas canisters that served as ammunition.
Ginger fist collided with the T-51b Power Armor-bearing mercenary ahead of him, the subtle vibrations of his mailed fists shearing through metal like paper, and smashing bones like sand, yet he was again forced to flee as focused AP Fire converged on his location. As even more gunfire began to sound, he began to realize what a hopeless situation he had let himself into.
Open. I just kinda felt like writing this, hardly the most eloquent of posts. You could help me out, or try to claim the hefty price on my head, I'm too bored to arbitrate what you do.
That's ok life happens. I'm trying to integrate my characters to Fulgrims arc. It's a slow process lol
-
Lol. I'm sure that a lot has happened since you last RPed here, but it's still basically the same thread. Good luck in re-acclimating yourself

Loud and Rapid gunfire could be heard from behind Ginger, as three hostile fell. More erupted, flying towards others, but it didn't hit them, it was enough to keep them suppressed though.
-
Without questioning or hesitating, Ginger leaps up to the balcony where the suppressed men are lying in cover. He lands on the first one, crushing his spine and ribs, and then begins pummeling the others with his bare hands; in such close range, they never stood a chance. He waves behind cover to show that it's him, and then gets to his feet to see his guardian.
-
He sees a man in T-60 Power Armor, standing about 6'4, holding a Minigun. He nods at Ginger. "You're welcome."
-
Ginger nods in acknowledgement, but at the same time gestures at all the other mercs in the area. He points at his chest, and then signals that he'll deal with the forces on the roof, while you'll deal with anyone on the warehouse floor.
-
The man nods again, and heads to take out his portion of the enemy forces.
-
There are a few men scouring the ground beneath you, accompanying three men in power armor similar to your own. A few snipers align the balconies adjacent to you, but they appear distracted by Ginger. Likewise, the ground forces are in disarray.
-
He sets down his Minigun, and grabs two grenades, Primes them, and throws them at the men in power armor, then proceeds to pick up his Minigun, and unloads the payback.
-
The men on the ground return fire with SMGs, burping three-or-four round bursts, but most of them are laid low by your mini gun. This gets the attentions of the snipers, however, who quickly get behind cover with rail-powered Sniper Rifles.
-
He lays down a bit of fire toward the snipers, trying to make sure they're not a problem to him or Ginger.
-
A sonic shriek and the rending of metal is heard, and all that remains of the guards are their guns. Ginger waits up top, with a stolen Gauss rifle. In a surprisingly normal voice for such a large figure, American with a tinge of a British (or something like British; he isn't quite human) accent, he calls out to the man, "All clear up here. Anyone hostiles with you?"
-
"A few." He lays down fire on remaining hostile forces.
-
Ginger helps finish the stragglers up, leaving none alive. He explains that to the man afterwards. "No need to question them. They organized this by themselves, you can tell from their assorted logos. That's a Golden Company insignia, that's Greenspear, and so forth. Did I ever catch your name?"
-
"Names Jack, but call me what you want. What's your name?"
-
"You can call me Ginger, or, well, anything you'd like. That's the only name people know me by, at least." He extends a large hand for you to shake. Though he appeared human at first glance, he was unusually tall at around 8ft, and his ears were slightly pointed. Likely there were more differences underneath the skin, as shown by his speed and strength. He was clad in advanced, ceramic armor that covered a sleek matte black combat skin. "You're a merc too, by the looks of you. Are you under a contract?"
-
Edited by Cmdr Dornick: 11/28/2015 9:19:56 PM"Oh, I'm no Merc." He shakes Ginger's hand, and inspects his apparel. "You're pretty tall, I must say."
-
He looks at you cooly for a second before his demeanor cracks. "Never said that I was human, eh? After that fiasco, I'd imagine that I owe you a drink or two. Wanna leave this place?"
-
"Sure, it'd be nice to have a break once in a while."
